Yes i prefer console gaming. Previously played TLOU part 1 (laptop) i need to do research why i couldn’t play - my loading/shader at 9% forever then found out need to get certain old Nvidia driver to fix it. I manually do it. It works… many hours wasted for the busy that is all our limited allocated playtime… 😅

@@Paul_CTID The PS5 Pro is a scam for a few reasons. First, there’s no disc compatibility, which is a huge drawback if you’ve got physical games. The graphics are basically the same as the regular PS5, so there’s no real improvement there. On top of that, if you want a stand, you have to buy it separately, and the same goes for the controller. It just doesn’t offer enough upgrades to justify the extra cost. Honestly, just buy the regular PS5 with a disc drive like I did - it’s a much better deal, and I’m enjoying it without all the unnecessary hassle or save your money and buy a prebuilt pc

Im a dad of 3. Pc gamer for past 10 years and love it. Craziest thing about consoles, they just work. Smooth performance on every game, I don't have to adjust settings , it just is. The older I get, the more important that is.

I’m so torn. You and I are on the same page about the ease of use and simplicity of the PS5. I absolutely love it. Not having to mess with drivers and crashes or change a bunch of settings to get my graphics/FPS right. And don’t get me started on fan noise and temperatures. PC is annoying. HOWEVER…... PS5 Pro is also rumored to be more expensive at either 599 or 699. If you don’t want to spend that much, get the PS5. I’ve seen regular sales on PS5 for 450 as well.

Yeah i am using PS5, and i also collecting physical stuff now. Physical disc game and movie. I enjoyed them with the Steelseries Nova Pro Headphone. Im trying to be more classic since collecting physical media has sense of owning the game and movies. Also the materials look good on the setup on left or right of our gaming/entertainment station. I also got tired of scrolling too much suggestion from streaming service and also owning a game without physical media felt a bit off the excitment before playing the game. Classic and high quality. PS5 is the way to go for entertainments, well optimized, and gaming with high quality of visual. I highly recommeding you to try Steelseries Nova Pro Wired for PS5 and experience the Dolby Atmos audio.

I just started a BluRay collection myself. I had a few movies/shows from when the streaming services where just starting out. Now, I’m saturated by the amount of (bad) content on Netflix/Prime. Also, crunchyroll doesn’t seem to have classic anime or different ones like Space Dandy so getting a library collection is my new hobby.

Great video about the PS5 and yes i'm waiting to get the PS5 Pro 🙂 I'll only say 2 things you probably forgot to say in the video: It's the PS Plus service with is similar to Xbox GamePass that offers great games, even Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut and the other thing is most people don't talk about this but if you have PS Plus Premium you get access to a catalog of movies; it's +100 movies not much really but it's something that Sony could improve, at least the Gran Turismo movie from last year is there to watch 👍

PS5 base should be able to do 60 FPS... not matter if 1080p or 1440p and upscaled. I think many dudes unterrade the power of the base PS5. Developer said that the peak is not reached.

I sometimes do prefer it over my PC since it does plug in play at decent resolutions and framerates very well.

Might as well, modern releases are blurry as hell and only 30fps mode looks good but 30fps is cancer. As long as a developer creates a 40 fps mode you will have a 4K like experience with decent enough frame rate. 60fps modes will be boosted from a lowly 720p to 1080p-1260p with PSSR chip to scale resolution.

Yes. There are no game changing games out so if you dont have a ps5 just wait. I wanted spider man 2 so I got the slim when it was released. As far as aesthetics I like how the slim looks over the original so in that aspect it was worth it, but as far as gaming not worth it AT ALL rn. And I also dont ageee with this guy saying its cool how there are no other apps or browsers on the ps5. I 100% use my ps4 browser all the time so it not being there on the newer more expensive console is a huge blow to me. They need to add that back asap. The ps3 had a browser, its ridiculous that there is no browser on this system. Cant stream my nba games or watch movies on sites that i dont need a subscription for *wink wink. They are now forcing me to subscribe to all these services or just always have to keep my ps4 plugged in.

Don't know if IT IS the camera or you really use overly blueish out of the box settings with stuff Like contrast enhancer. But not only that it hurts your eyes, even you not noticing it, it also reduces the picture quality with less contrast, wrong colors and aliasing. I would look into HDTV Test channel for more accurate settings for your TV. Copy Filmmaker values SDR into SDR Game and HDR into HDR Game is a simpel First step. Keep in mind, that our brain adapt even Fake colors as neutral, so it needs some time to adjust. I've all my displays calibrated with colorimeter and it was the first Thing i notice in the video. 😂

Really? PS5 Games on PSN Sales for example typically are more like Steam sales these days. I paid for many AAA games only 9,99, 19,99 or even 4,99 and so on. Very cheap. And on release date for example you may pay 10 more compared to steam digital, BUT in many cases you can get the physical version for the steam launch price and you are able to sell it again, while you stuck on your account with PC. To me console gaming is way cheaper. You can get money back for most games. And sales gives nearly identic prices to steam.

Kind of on the fence with the pro to be honest reason being is it has same cpu as o.g. Ps5 just clocked 10% faster. If a ps5 and a ps5 pro was both displaying the same 3rd party game on different 4ktvs, would a person be able to tell which one was ps5 pro, and which one would be ps5?
