It isn't made by Nintendo, but it is worked on by James Turner who worked on the Pokémon designs and worked at Genius Sonority who also did a lot of Nintendo games. I'm not surprised it shares some of that Nintendo DNA.

Been keeping my eye on this game for like a year now and this new trailer has me even more mind blown. I'm really hoping this little game ends up being a HUGE SMASH HIT for 2024. Please let this game succeed and reach a large crowd. The gameplay mechanics and art style switching is highly creative and it looks like a lot of thought was put into the transitions themselves and how they affect the overall experience. Anyway, really hope this gets a hugely positive critical reception. On a more serious note, God bless the one who's reading this comment and may you find immense joy and clarity in this life as you pursue what is true and righteous and NOT what is simply trendy and satisfactory to your flesh.

1:10 Why did the first bounce not trigger the spring's animation? 1:35 That looks unfair. How are players supposed to know there are enemies hiding there if the camera doesn't turn?

Because the first bounce they didn't jump at the same time so it was a smaller bounce like every bounce pad mechanic in any game? Or would you prefer a game that's rendering 2D planes and 3D planes at the same time constantly whilst having several different genres playing out and tons of mechanics to have a separate animation for a smaller bounce on a bounce pad?
