In as much as I enjoy following your home projects, you approach your filming differently when you aren't the subject. It's more an act of creating an experience for your audience instead of sharing an experience with your audience. Great story telling, filmmaking and orchestration.

You've created, for us, a wonderful experience. I could actually see what I had imagined when reading Partick Süskind's novel, Perfume: The Story of a Murderer which is set in a French perfumery. You and Donato have described the power of fragrance so well. My favourite is patchouli, which I grow in the garden just for the pleasure of brushing past its leaves. And second, is one of the ingredients Donato mentioned: bergamot. Exquisite video, Kylie.

Beautiful video! The poetic montage you created in the beginning was brilliant. It itself was like an advertisement for a perfume. This episode transported me back to when I visted a perfumery in Florence, as well. It was such a wonderful experience and by far my favorite purchase from my trip. Everytime I wear the perfume, my mind wanders back to my travels through Italy.

So funny, I thought for sure you were going to visit Santa Maria Novella, one of my favorite places ever, their Potpourri scent puts me right back in Italy, as the family I stayed with had huge bowls fillled with the potpourri sitting around everywhere. How delightful to visit another lovely & "scentuous" place in Firenze!

Stunning...I had the experience on my honeymoon in England 40 years ago...we, our home and gifting changed forever...the notes that we wear, how we build it have sometimes made us stop and think back to the experience because of the compliments we get when entering a room or the candles we burn in our home. Is this the one on Borgo Santa Croce? If so, when I lived in Florence my apartment was just a couple doors down at #10. I used to hang out at the Quelo Bar which was roughly right across the street from Aqua Flor. There was always a wonderful scent in the air here. I love this area of Firenze and spent a lot of time in Piazza Santa Croce just relaxing and people watching. Sadly, Borgo Santa Croce is also where I lost my cat Nero to a tragic fall from the window ledge, it still haunts me to this day. I was a student at the Italian language school right across from my apartment at the time, this was in late 2020/21. I still love Firenze and my time there although I now live in Sicily. Grazie mille, Paul in Sicily Edit: I wrote my original comment right at the start of the video and obviously realized later that yes, this is Borgo Santa Croce! What a small world! I love when things like this happen! Ciao...

Kylie Darlin, this is one of your best EVER❣️❣️❣️. So beautifully crafted!!!! Indeed, the history Donato explained is all verified. On our last trip to Italy 2019, I kept smelling a most treasured scent in some of the stores in Arezzo and in a hotel reception room in Puglia. Found out it was Vin di Vino reed diffuser scent made in Puglia. I now order it & fill our home with those memories. It’s a splurge, but worth every penny to be so unique. Thank you for sharing this exquisite experience 💛🧡❤️♥️

Good day dear Kylie.Your romantic soul is ever so apparent when you bring us along to your favorite places.The lighting in this piece is so warm.Truly aroma is so influential. I have heard it said that baking cinnamon buns for open houses sell houses. I believe it is essential to keep beautiful fragrance present in our life every day, if possible.( Of course sometimes that is a challenge.) It would be very much fun to build a perfume there . What a marvel to be experienced indoors and outdoors! Entering an artisanal perfumery is a joy for the eyes and for the nose which feels all the true essences alive and also the workmanship which is interesting!! And then we are in Florence....
