@Polygon Tower 4 Bytes. And it's one of those games that does 2x+1 values (as in, the value to find in Cheat Engine is one higher than double the in-game value). Same for money. But unless you're good at Pointers, better than I am, you must find the value each time you restart (and sometimes when you load), hence needing enough Rare Candies to have a good range. Minimum like 3-4, ideally more, unless you're really patient and don't mind the risk of save corruption by altering the wrong numbers.

To be fair it's in development for a long time and any artist who wants can contribute a sprite, and as long as it gets accepted by the majority it gets added.

@@PGerman. I don't think they are saying it seriously (it's obviously an inaccurate comparison), they are even saying it with a meme. But if we are discussing it for real: These are just one 2D sprites for each pokemon with no animations, compare to 3D models that need to be animated, and that have several different animations. And you have many people contributing by designing sprites at their own pacing with no pressure of deadlines. I've seen people saying that they could use more procedurally-generated animations. I don't really know.

The closest we ever got to a game on this level from Gamefreak is Pokemon Go, and as you may have seen on the news, that game is dying. Pokemon Fusion is the quintessential Pokemon game that fans have been asking for. The game fans decided "we'll just do it ourselves". The game with all the ideas Pokemon is afraid to do, or just won't do.

And yet they are still so stubborn and refuse to increase size of their in-house studios. They absolutely have the money to hire some fresh blood, managers to restructurize the studio etc, but they refuse to, because people will buy any slop they produce

Alpha is right adaptability is better than what he'd get if he evolved and the minor stat boosts he'd gain from it doesn't clear the gap say for example he used an 80 base power move with adaptability that's a 160 base power move due to x2 stab bonus and best case scenario for trying to close the gap would be sylveon (a special attacker) for pixilate turning normal moves into fairy and giving them a 20% boost then getting a 1.5x boost for a base power of 144 which is completely not worth it for anything besides typing it's hard to beat double damage

Oh I see how he had problems with the randomizer settings. the value input in the settings for stat range is 0 - 500, but also allows for values above 500. So because he set it to over 600 , no pokemon could be spawned. The value input for that needs some code to prevent it going above 500.
