Interesting idea! Looking forward to it. If you want bulky mons I'd def recommend getting a Slowpoke. You can get Slowbro at level 37. It can learn multiple HM's and its level up moveset include healing moves like Slack Off

I just dug up my old pokewalker from 12 years ago and came across this video. This is such a cool idea! I also just peeped your channel and was glad to see you're still making episodes. I was able to get the GTS course, basically inserting a certain dns (the one that also gives event Pokemon/courses) gives also the ability to use GTS. Just find something easy to trade (for example i offered a Ditto, people like to masuda method) and you're set to unlock that course. So yes, Water Stone Staryu is possible :D

I just had a memory of this thing from my childhood. After a lengthy Google search binge I was able to find this video. Is there anywhere for me to buy this thing for cheap? Or possibly a bundle with the game as well. I personally would love to relive my childhood.! Any help would be much appreciated! Also I love your video and it's format;)

Cheap no. But you can find them secondhand online used. Look for sealed games since they come packaged in and cost about the same

16:55 the ONE other thing that isn't preset is SHINY pokemon from pokewalker, I've seen a few shinies with route of pokewalker

...are you sure? That's been disproven. If you can prove it with a shiny that actually says it's from the Pokewalker that'd be huge.

rewatched the video, I skipped over the screen, ya he's using an action replay cheat to remove the shiny lock on pokewalker, but he CLAIMS that's all it does but can always do more, I mean, it's an action replay cheat so ya.

@@lookatmyzombies9377 So there's a fan run wifi event IP address you can manually link to and it distributes events randomly. That's all I did. No cheating required

I will say 2 things, even if the pokewalker Pokémon suck, losing means nothing since your in game money is worthless. Also, why Gamefreak?!?! Why make pokewalker Pokémon shiny locked 😔 😟!!!

They didn't exactly shiny lock them, they just generated a preset Pokemon because the Pokewalker couldn't do it itself. But yes I'm considering dying on purpose to fast travel out of caves and stuff

Don’t quote me on this but I believe the DNS exploit might work with GTS on HGSS. I know it does in B/W but not sure in HGSS. Hope this helps

@@HamsterBomb I just finished watching the Completionist’s video on HGSS and they mentioned that they used the GTS system using the DNS exploit to complete their Pokédex. I’m more than happy to help test this out or trade with you to do it :)
