Andy Summers, as many people have written, is a criminally under-rated guitar player. He really shines here. The chords, rhythm, fretting and strumming are different to that on the record, and BETTER, if that were possible. What a treat, and thanks for posting this, Mr. Lukošius.

Stewart Copeland was born with DNA to drum, there is absolutely no question about it and, his backing up is just as amazing!

Obviously a serious guitarist with great improvised skills, however the recorded lead break is so great it would be nice to hear him play close to it live, just my opinion and I think he is a amazing player and extremely underrated for some strange reason???

For sure one of the most influencial punk bands of all times, these punchy chords on the refrain are exactly what punk means, and Andy Summers is a genuis coming from jazz

Nothing Achieving is a great punk sungle. Glad to see someone that knows punk isn't just hardcore and 77'. The tension the band is playing with here is exactly what I look for in Punk. Anyone playing sound up this right IS punk in my book.

Yes as soloist he is very strange and not so able at all but he's an incredible genious as rhythm guitarist and his solos are so different and strange to be, at the end, a brand of Police's music. He tries to use diminuished and superlocrian solutions, as in jazz music, on his solos but it sounds not so right for pop or rock music. It seems out of key more than sometimes but it is not a case but what he wanted and looked for being different from other rock guitarist of his time.
