Steward Copeland is by far the best drummer in rock history.

Neil Peirt or John Bonham are much greater rock drummers. Steve Copeland is agreeably an amazing drummer but if you listen to him he is much more reggae than rock, his fusion is so good, but purely rock i’m not sure you can say he’s the greatest. I’m saying that as he is one of my favorite drummers out there.

This makes me want to cry. I never understood people who cry at music. But this just makes me feel so much I just want to cry.

This take has an aura of melancholy about their first years playing. It's the new sounds and the chords they have modified and the silences they incorporated.
@skodekuАй бұрын
@@marramamberta321absolutely spot on, just watch thier 1983 concert and then watch this, noticeable differences, but this feels more (and i’ll say it too because it’s a perfect word for it) melancholy. Definitely shows the growth and age they were able to almost perfect the synchronized silences, ect

@@stephanevu-hoang1014 i dont disagree with you. Its his choice of notes that just speaks to me. Reminds me why i play and what my ultimate goal is that i hope to achieve one day with my playing. To make people feel the way i felt when i listen to andy play here.

If even Sting can't sing in the original tone, it proves how hard it is to sing!

In what key is this?
@adlovett9831Ай бұрын
G major, but for the solo they modulate to A major and then back to G after the solo.
