Amazing! I must invent a time machine so I can go back and attend this show. I never heard of these beautiful people before tonight, wish I had.

this is incredible. Everyone is good in the band. How do you find 24 amazingly talented musicians to perform in sync, and yet each have their own little contribution morsels dispersed throughout?? And for all to believe, to tour and devote their lives??? This is a force of nature that doesn't happen often. I hope I can be a part of a passion project like this one day

So the Spree has their new album playing at UNT right now, set to an amazing psychedelic, soul journey visual film "experience" at the planetarium at the school. I saw it last night and was just blown away!

As a classically trained pianist, can I just give props to the keyboard player here? I've watched a few PS vids tonight, and that chap in spot on all the time, combining technique and style with being subtle or bombastic when it's needed. I wish I could play as well as he does. Top work x

In the beggining, there was The Polyphonic Spree, and they were amazing. But people didn't realized their genius so from the mud Arcade Fire was born. And it was good, but The Polyphonic Spree will always reign.

Amen to that observation. TPS are the Father and AF is the Son. Wonder if they’d ever play together or start a fest where they co-headline it.

When is the world going to embrace The Polyphonic Spree? They are such a creative and unique band with such a positive vibe and with some of the best melodies in modern music. Share this video and make it happen already. Get up and go!

If the record companies still existed as they were they would have had the proper support but the little shits who download destroyed it. and now Spree is crowded out by thousands of shitty alt and rap Acts.

Thanx for posting this. Really cheered me up on potentially dismal day. I miss seeing these guys. Saw them in Philly, NYC, D.C. and Dallas back in 2004 or so. So glad they're still around and hope Tim keeps it going. #cheers

I've been to 3 of their XMAS shows. It was a huge event, including comedians, animal shows, a group of lovely, elderly women who would put on a dance performance. Just a fantastic, happy event. The Spree are amazing live. All great musicians. First time I've seen anyone playing a theremin live. That was back in 2000 something. 2004 or 2005. It was funny to see them cameo in the movie "The Big Short". I was going through some tough times, and their music pulled me through.

Yeah people come and go ST VINCENT obv became ST VINCENT went on to win Grammys and yeah people move on… Tim is awesome ! ST VINCENT said in an article that she came back from NYC and was about to give up on music completely when her friend introduced her to TIM and then she joined Polyphonic Spree and the rest is history. Whoever Tim and the guys have it’s always awesome. People move on to solo careers. What an amazing performance here though ! this is one of the best I’ve ever seen ^^^^ ❤️polyphonic spree ❤️ cool to see TIM busting out the sheet there in the beginning of the set 😄reminds me of the old 90s TIM back in the “BILL” days before they saw any major label/MTV Success. Perfect way to start a show 😄❤️🙏🙌👍👍👌✌️

I love their music and their sound, but I can't say I feel the same for their lyrics and their vocals always seem to be mixed too loud, competing with their instruments.

How do any of these musicians make a living? What does he pay them? A hit of acid, some ramen noodles, and $50/show?? Plus how do they play a show without playing It's the Sun or their BIGGEST HIT Light & Day?! 🤦♂️

Youre right. Inexplicably too many covers and not the hits. It's what drives the numbers. It's hierarchical. Tin should read up on his Jordan Peterson.
