Actually this makes perfect sense to me. Pop blast was obviously reuploading popular videos to make money off of other people's work. Easy answers to your skepticism. 1) Why did he use his real name? A: Didn't expect this to get caught since a lot of money was involved and as a result would likely keep their mouth shut. I'm not saying that's smart, but I'm not saying Jeffrey was smart either. I'm not sold particularly on this reason but my other two responses below are a lot more reasonable. 2) Why only $6500k? A: Many reasons actually. Firstly, that whole corporation is very greedy. Secondly, there's a thing that can be said about a sudden financial loss out of nowhere seemingly going nowhere. $6500k isn't too much to them, therefore would likely be ignored by any financial recordings, or at least easily dismissable. 3) Why Pop Blast? A: Again, many reasons. Firstly, a larger channel could easily make the information public and would result in a lot of trouble for them, especially with a larger following. Secondly, $6500k might not be enough of a bribe for a larger, more significant channel. Thirdly, if the channel suffered repercussions, the potential for the channel to do anything about it is fairly low due to obscurity and general irrelevance - BUT at the same time it has much more potential of reach due to the subscriber count, which KZbin will automatically put more preference to than a channel with little to no subscribers. It's all careful planning, though it wasn't careful enough clearly. I'm very surprised you didn't think of these on your own, to be honest.

I actually kinda like the idea it was Logan Paul’s manager. I don’t know if it’s accurate, but it makes for a better story if it was. And it kind of makes sense that they’d pay about $6500 even if that’s nothing to Logan Paul. Like you don’t think about giving people small amounts of money right? It's obvious now that he truly did want to expose Shane, he got put on blast for being right and tried to deflect and escape it by posting all the other shit, this is a creepily common occurrence with Shane now At least twice now bobby burns and pop blast (albeit bobby burns did a much better job) two people that tried to expose Shane but in the end were either manipulated or put on blast until they went into overtime deflecting and trying to escape the drama, + there was some beauty community drama that sounded similar but idk about that situation and I don't care either...it's truly scary how good he is at escaping, even now he's come back to KZbin and is receiving nothing but support from fans.
