Pop Cap Games were my childhood, one of the best memories i have about them is that my Grandma literally loved Zuma WAAAAAY before Candy Crush was a thing. She literally reaches the 11-X levels while i couldn't even try, i always loved to see her try. My parents also loves stuff like Plants Vs Zombies but most notably Rocket Mania, they would be AT WAR when talking about who's the best and who had the highest score. Really miss the team, it's not just PvZ EA..

I have a list of various PopCap facts to share with the class: - The original prototype of Dynomite, "Eggsucker", which was primarily developed by Raptisoft under its namesake John Raptis. This company is also responsible for the creation of Chuzzle, and still owns the rights to the property to this day. Plus, in 2018 and 2020 respectively, Raptisoft released a set of mobile games (derogatory) using the Chuzzle IP. Granted, they don't look THAT awful, and the games seem to have more heart and love put into them than EA's PopCap mobile games, if nothing else. - Scoop Away wasn't the only weird PopCap advertisement match-3 game, and PopCap created a myriad of Bejeweled clones for a bunch of weird and varied purposes. There was Antbully Bejeweled, K-Mart, Milk Chocolate Covered Oreos (yes, really), and even a Bejeweled reskin meant to support the final leg of the "don't be blah/Other White Meat" ad campaign. - Another one of PopCap's business partners was SpinTop Games, best known for making a metric shit-ton of hidden object games. If you've never heard of them, you're not missing out on anything, because all of their games play exactly the same. - AstroPop seems to be the spiritual successor to a super old PopCap shareware title named Atomico, which was released all the way back in 2001. It's a very odd Match-4 puzzle game with mechanics that are eerily similar to AstroPop's virus blocks.
