A popper is already a two in one bait if you throw the right ones- it's a walking bait and a popper- this one just trades that off for being a popper and a square bill. I like it but, didn't really find it to be a game changer or anything. Tbh the whole combining baits thing is getting a little outta hand- I've got a swim jig/underspin/chatter bait thing I bought just cause I wanted to see if it also had a fold out scanner/printer/fax attachment- but when I saw it didn't have a flash light as well I had to return it, that's a deal breaker.

I bought 3 of these when Gander outdoors closed in my area. You can't fish it fast like he said. Cast it, let it surface, pop it wait for it to surface again and give it another pop. If nothing has taken it they are watching it. That's when you retrieve, make it look like it's running like he said. It's a fun bait if you get them zoned in on it.

Ty, you made a point better in this video, about the hooks, better than I have ever seen it done anywhere. Good job and great video!

Great video sir! I recently had the exact morning with the Prank you just showed.. right down to changing the hooks out to Fusions about 1/2 hour in.. I have come to love this bait to the point of always having one tied on now.. 4 to 5 good bloops, then a quick crank back to me whether I'm on boat, or shore.. one or the other catches them, and the bonus is at all times of day, and any type of sky I have had success as well.. Good bait to run over submerged grasses. Really calls them up nicely.. not as effective in very clear water, but even then it'll work ok inside shade lines.. recently found your channel, and have enjoyed the lessons, and honest Talk.. keep it up!!

This is a really good design for a popper, i'm definitely gonna be ordering one. I've always made my popper act erratic when im reeling it in and sometimes they hit it when i start reeling and twitching a lot faster, I bet they would respond better to this submersive style evasion. Judging by this video that lip might be a game changer on tough days.

@Halfstep20243 жыл бұрын
@@ryanraddin9568 the only reason he is even using one is to keep the treble hooks from tangling in the braid. Aside from that I’d say there’s not much use in it really. I’ve tried everything with or without a leader and the only difference I’ve ever noticed is that. The rest of the time I run either straight braid or what I call half and half, half a spool of braid with half a spool of mono or fluorocarbon on top.
