So the mysterious Canadian experience is just a conservatism of local Canadian employers? Does that mean if I apply only for international/immigrant employers, that would help overcome the absence of Canadian experience?

23:02 So If I say that I am alone, I lived abroad in the same country, city, company for 10 years, will that be enough to show that I am not the guy who is jumping around?

16:26 "First step - reaching out, not only for work but also for help, connections" 1.Can you give me the example for the person who is outside of Canada to get the job? 2. You also mentioned as I understood not to send messages via LinkedIn but via email? 3. So Canadians are fine with receiving email from some unknown guy from another part of the world not being suspicious if it's a spam, scam, or phishing attack? The reaching out part is really weird. Also some minutes later there will be an advice to pursuing your dream company. 4. Let's say it's Microsoft, so I just find a recruiting manager for a particular job I want to apply and email her/him that I really want that job?

I don't know. I like the video, but there so many conflicting information in this video, sometimes even they will say it themselves. Being robotic/write in resume, 20seonds to view CV for HR/don't do 1 pager, international experience in marketing is nothing different/still Canadian experience... I am aware that I took this out of context, and can't prove this without rewatching this (just don't want to waste time). But overall the outcome of this video is: 1. Have a very good luck 2. Have friends in Canada who can recommend you to their boss I am surprised that nothing is mentioned regarding ATS
