That explains why I always had a bad day in college when I wore a blue shirt and a good day when I wore a grey one (so I stopped wearing blue shirts). Would be nice if places let students wear comfier clothes regularly, they'd probably learn better overall if they do better on exams like that. I've also seen a meme about programming-related clothes and thought it was a joke, but maybe there's genuinely merit to it (besides being comfier if the wearer finds it to be).

I think the main reason why people with comfortable clothes score better isn’t just because their comfort can make them concentrate better but mainly because those that dress sharp are more likely to obsess over what others think of them which is why they put lots of effort in dressing up so they focus too much on other people’s opinions instead of fully focussing on their studies
