The Power of Kindness

The one respected source discribes word "kindness": "The quality or state of taking an active interest in the welfare of others; friendly and helpful acts or favors". Empathy​-key to kindness and compassion. “So long as you can sweeten another’s pain, life is not in vain,” wrote one woman. You have likely observed that in this selfish world, it is easy to ‘shut the door of one’s tender compassions’ and ignore the needs of others. Jehovah God takes the lead and is the best example of one showing kindness in so many ways toward others, even toward the unthankful and wicked: "For you, O Jehovah, are good and ready to forgive; You abound in loyal love for all those who call on you" (Psalm 86:5). The true “love is . . . kind”​ (1Corinthians 13:4). We are created by a loving God and we must be kind!
