God has given two eyes to see things double the time, two ears to hear double the time, two hands to work double the time, but a single mouth to speak once. So we should use it wisely.

I’m an introvert, but most times people seems to believe that introverts are naive and afraid of taking responsibility but they fail to see it better to take a quieter idea rather than being in a rush to strive

I think so .. Generally, introverted people usually can be more logical, because they think more than the others betore solve some situations. Overall, they can be more reserved, calm and patient even they are not communicative. Therefore, world needs people that listen more before take a decision.

Great message! I was thinking about how difficult it ´s for quiet people to showcase their full potential. And in a world where power, money and fast reactions are connected with a supposed leadership, we should reflect on what kind of results we are coming up with (increasing pollution, poverty, wrong political decisions, frustration, etc.). Rethinking Leadership taking into account our worldwide challenges could be a great step for the whole society!

Negativity is NOT good leadership. You mentioned what is being highlighted. Because we are living times, when the agenda of those who bring information out, focus on negative matters. True leadership is to enable, empower people. Make a better environment. However, we have people in leadership who make it a career and act deceitfully. Best regards.

I think the leader must be extrovert because they handle big groups, their communication must be very good to transmit information to the employees and coordinate the different activities

We are thinking an introverted leader is different from a quiet leader because introvert person, we are thinking is a person very shy, and quiet leader is a person know and stay silent in significant moments, for take everything in and then make a correct decision for all.

that’s a great task about introverted people and their leadership style. I think introverted leaders are good at software and technical areas. like bill gates. Because in these areas improve themselves every year with new ideas. So employees have to give their ideas and opinions to their leader to creat new inventions. ıf the leader talks more than employees there will be no new things. Only one way things etc.

@@drjacquelinebaxter1913 Yes you can force the decision if you are not confident but you won't be feeling good. You will be anxious and after some point you won't be able to keep forcing after ur decisions backfire and you take it too personally.

I’m more extroverted than introverted, but always take the time to credit people around me for my success, and surround myself with those who I can learn from. I think the biggest problem is fear. People tend to be afraid to stick up for their ideas out of fear. The good news is that for every 10 bad ideas you will have 1 good one that will make you an invaluable resource/employee/friend/partner.

Thanks!! At first I used to think that way too, I even tried to become an extrovert but the conclusion was that is just not me and perhaps I can never be a leader. But now my doubts are cleared. Also I must say even though the world still points out Elon Musk's communicating skills I think he is great leader and being an introvert is always a plus point in anyone's life.

Thankyou for pointing out this issue I too have the same thought, because i have been in a situation where i was pressured to be an extrovert person, and a quick decision maker I am frustrated that I can't do that, i also frustrated that i am not as easy going as an extrovert always do I am an introvert person, and not on the spot decision maker I react slowly on every problem i face, so sometimes i flustered when i suddenly encounter problems that need a quick decision making, that is my weaknesses But my strength is that i am the one who think the long term consequences of everything, the process of thinking takes time, and that often irritated people in instant solution world But the good think about it is, i can plan for everything to work out in the long term, and if there is a risk, i can minimize it, or even prevent it long before it happens Extrovert and introvert have their own way to lead But this world just forget to think that way

If everyone was “loud,” the world would be an annoying place to live in. Some people have shrill, high-toned voices; others have booming, loud baritones; still others have deep, low bass voices and others are smack-bang in the middle. All types are inherently as capable or incapable as each other when it comes to public speaking and leadership so long as they’re allowed to harness their natural strengths and not forced to be (or sound like) someone they’re not inherently. The same people who’ll ask an unsuspecting person upon first meeting if they’re single or not (no sense of social propriety whatsoever) are the same people (who really need lecturing from XNFJs and ISFJs on theoretical social graces) who’ll call someone a weird, antisocial loner at best (autistic or avoidant at worst) for choosing to eat by themselves at lunch-hour. Reticent/quiet/socially-reserved folk are fine just the way they are.

I retain an A+ grade in leadership from Harvard. I think what this video teaches to some extent is not correct. The idea that the best leaders are those who talk little is impossible prove, because adaptive challenge work indicators exist. Adaptive challenge work indicators are unknowns, and it is not clear how to acquire them (that's why it's leadership). It means that one cannot prove that less or more talkative is better in various ways, because it is not even known what is needed for the leadership goal to be completed in one or multiple ways.

This video's message is beautiful and just so amazingly naive. You said so yourself; 98% of leaders are art-freak, entertainment-freak, celebrity-freak, self-help-book-freak, mythology-freak, storytelling-freak, symbolism-freak, archetype-freak, religion-freak, spirituality-freak extroverts. It's hopeless.

Not sure its naive. You are talking about a western version of leadership. Many leaders in the global south and east are introverted.
