My girlfriend of two years broke up with me. Just weeks before we were talking about marriage and starting a family in the next few years. Things went poorly at the very end. It made me realize that I need to change. I let viruses enter my life and our relationship. I'm working hard now. Physically and mentally. I quit smoking, I'm working out, I'm not being the same cynical man that I was a few weeks ago. It's a process but I'm getting there. This was very inspiring and insightful to know that change is always an option and it is necessary. Thank you.

Thanks for making us understand the need for struggle in life and to have faith in that struggle to come out as winner and becoming version 2.0 of ourselves. That point could not be described with any better analogy. Even though we all know that hard work and struggle essential for our improvement still we choose comfort and rest and become outdated or fall back in life. And that brings anxiety depression. This kind of lectures really needed sometimes to remind us why we should choose to accept challenge every time we face it and not to choose fear and comfort. Thank you so much.

I just want to say this to you guys growing up be kind to those who support you make wise decisions and work hard . Please avoid yourselves from becoming like a person like me . My family deserves someone much more than me . Amen . I have always wanted material throughout my life and didnt realise what is really important . Parents its ok what your young ones want to achieve be it sports or studies , Please be supportive to your children Whatever be it their dream and irrespective of the circumstance support them to grow in that dream and to become the best versions of themselves . My girlfriend and I just decided to put our relationship to an end. I just want to transform myself into the best version of myself. I want the same for her. Part of me wants to give up and lay in bed forever, and another part of me is viewing this as an opportunity to do all the things I didn’t have time for. I guess I’m looking for answers with no real question... but I will persist and move forward because I know that’s what she’d want for me and that’s what I want for her as well.

I always try my best to change and I always fall back. I learn so much and sometimes it's very fatiguing because you learn how much it will take to get to where you want to be but are then back to square one. Basically though if I can go to sleep early and wake up early. Exercise just a bit, pushups or something, and eat right. For sure I know I'll have the energy to enjoy work and be content with the daily grind. Dopamine detoxxs are really powerful as well. I'll do that from time to time and see great results. But staying consistent and not falling back to old habits it's the hard part. Especially when the benefits kick in and you feel like you can afford to stay up a bit. Or I'll work some more tomorrow, let me just take a break and a mini vacation. I don't know, however small a Dream is I'm sure it's worth getting back up for it an infinite ♾️ amount of times either here or in the next life.

The narrative of deception we tell ourselves day by day is the path to a state of emptiness and lack of self-fulfilment. Sometimes we take a decision that conveyed by a false sense of stability conceals our a fear to responsability that steadiliy leads us to self loath. In view of this fact, taking the rejection to a better life for granted becomes a habit enhanced by our dependance on willingness as we wait for the perfect moment to manifest itself in the midst of our apparent meaningless life, thus our patience wears thin overtime and we plunge ourselves into our own dream there when we least expect it we find ourselves in a nightmare from which we are not able to wake up.

Thank you TED and Anthony Cheam for this riveting talk. I believe I searched 'become best version of myself' and this search result came up. Faith Fire and Flexibility. I especially enjoyed the example about upgrading after life changes and age. We are sometimes nostalgicslly reaching for the past instead of coming to terms with and making the best of today and tomorrow. This was more of motivational talk without any concrete steps but it served its purpose. We have to carve our own path. It starts with a reset and re-evaluation.
