We lost our little bonnie bluebonnet westhighland terrier of 14 years 2 years ago and stil we greive and her picture and favorite toy still sit on the mantel . My wife acts like its one of her kids she lost , but then wasnt she .

I’m crying while listening to this , I just lost my last doxie, Pepper 17, pn 3-1-24. It hurts to lose a pet . Why do we keep getting another to love , when we know it will rip our hearts out , I don’t know the answer . I do know I love to have a dog to love . I’ve had seven over the years and it ripped my heart out every time i lost one. I’ve loved everyone of them with all my heart. 🥲
