Yes, when you start off measuring, assuming one will be bigger than the other, the dominant hand will most likely be “bigger”. Then think the other one will grow when you say “grow longer” you then see the other one is longer. Do it again but look at the palms of your hand as you do it. Find out fast that they aren’t even at all. Your brain “thinking” one will be bigger than the other will indeed make it seem like it is. Whatever you believe in is what will happen. This is a phenomenal way to explain how much power the mind has.

This is called having muscle imbalances. Focusing on the "shorter hand" helps your body recognize unnecessary tension and release it. Normally your dominant hand will be "shorter" because the muscles and tendons that cross the wrist are stronger/tigher, thus pulling the joints in. Thats all this is.
