I echo your sentiment but it's never that easy. Takes money for most to break away. Bills have to still be paid. Life isn't free. You got to eat. You might have kids who need to eat. That's how most abusers keep a strangle hold on a partner. It's sad but it's the reality. Takes a strong support system and patience from friends and family.

@@DelaneyParker101 You normally cannot expect a refund on plane tickets. So the situation is you either accept the terms and condition of your plane tickets or you leave it. Remember that you book a flight so you got to find value in something you originally invested in.

Very wise. Toxic people can destroy your live. They lie, manipulate, gaslight, deceive, have no boundaries, playing the victim if you do not want live the way they want. Get rid of them. And have the courage to tell them that you do not want to engage with them without feeling guilty or explaining yourself. People who treat you like trash, call you trash and simultaneously want to fuck you and own you need to be shown the door. Sort them out. 🤪

I have done this 3 times in my life and don't regret it. The first time was sticking to my decision and getting divorced. Second was when I quit my job and took another job for less pay. Most recently I stepped down from a management position in my company to go back to the trenches with everyone else. Each time I felt a sense of relief, but I never made the decision in haste.

Most importantly, walking away gives you an opportunity to regain your composure and to calm down. When you're angry or upset, it's best to take a few minutes (or even hours) to cool off before continuing the conversation. This will allow you to think more clearly and approach the situation from a more rational perspective. Excellent content from Brainy Dose!

I’ll walk away before I allow my blood pressure to become elevated & I act out of character. When one door closes another one opens. Time to move on. Once you learn to liberate yourself from things that no longer serve you or disrupt your peace you’ll be iight. Mental health is important & change is constant. Act accordingly or get out of my way & leave me alone because it was one point in time to where I didn’t know you.💯💯 Peace 🕊🍃👁♾️☮️♾️👁🍃🕊

We don't need to respond to everything we hear and see. We don't owe someone an interaction just because we're in public. Just because others feel like listening doesn't mean we should speak. What we keep private or share is itself a private matter. Don't need to prove ourselves to others. We don't owe them an explanation anymore than we owe them our bank balance. Use discernment and common sense when sharing details or getting involved in something. If someone can't speak without being nosy or finding fault, they'll find themselves alone. If someone will ask a nosy question but ignore your cries for help, they're using their voice as a weapon against you. Doing opposites like this is a form of control. It's dysfunctional and passive aggressive. Some people speak when they shouldn't, but not when they should. If they keep making fools of themselves, it will come back to them one way or another. 💯

So, I watched this video and there were two sides, I watched it as both someone who was left behind and someone who walked away, it felt empowering to watch it as a latter one while it hurt a little being the one left abundant. And I think I would like to leave this note for that side of mine who was left alone - It really is okay, sometimes we often fail to recognize that something in life is falling apart, and most of the time it's a favor that others do to us. It might feel somewhat hard to let go, however, it is the biggest lesson one could learn in life to live happily and peacefully. Being the one people walk away from allows you to introspect, grow, and learn from mistakes. And you deserve to be valued and appreciated, focus on yourself and you'll meet people of your kind.

I hate long family discussions and being told "Come back here!"when I leave the room. It's not good for me to stay in a toxic discussion. I sometimes hear "You're an adult. A kid does that" Those statements are toxic. I literally walk away from that environment. It makes me shrink and turn into a shell. When I literally walk away from long discussions I feel like myself more and more. I feel confident also. Walking away doesn't mean you're acting like a middle school kid. It means that you don't need to tolerate or suffer in a toxic family discussions. Whenever I wound up in a long discussion whether it's about money or anything I walk away.

I used to have tonnes of "friends", these days I have very few and although I miss how it used to feel in the past, I do find it easier to be alone. Socialising usually disappoints me and at the end of a nigbt out I often think "is that it?". I think my break up three years ago has a lot to do with it too. My ability to connect is faulty, so I just avoid instead.

Excellent Leave your spouse if he/she shows no respect or love and spends you into poverty Dont make excuses and don’t worry about the kids. They will be fine and in time will understand your departure You will feel like you have been let out of jail😊🇨🇦 If you stay you will get ill and shorten your life Go for it. God wants you to be happy

Not everyone can, Unfortunately people with physical or mental issues are dependent on the other person. Even if they collect disability life is not sustainable on thier own in Cities Like NYC. Fun fact, If you get disability The City often doesn't help. I work with people & it's not as cut & dry as you made it sound here.

The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. Therefore I walked away and refuse to acknowledge the mother of my kids. And I still got those kids btw.

I've done that with former family and friends. They KNEW they hurt you WHEN they did it. So "all in the past" is no excuse. It's futile to have the "last word" if they end up being shunned. They can "win" and STILL lose.

Yes walking away is a decision that is very necessary but sometimes peep have a much more pull of bad luck to doing the same thing over again but first u should know u, communicate and dont be a player and b on the same page... admiring my prob for liking doing things later in life, just not on my phone using me then saying after meditation we broke up 4 days no this month for good but we r together... dont care but now saying I'm intimidating but my stolen car the bomb so take things step by step and stop sending peep to Darren's and Laura's Facebook to keeping checking on me... even ur bro....u had num, car, car car so do the right thing and live ur twining flavors of the day Cuz doing what u want will keep u young animals never stopping u Cuz I left with my eyes open and never looked baxk

"And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone NOT FOUND written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire." (REVELATION 20:12-15 NKJV) Today, while you are still alive and able, may you repent from your sins, believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that JESUS CHRIST is your Lord and Savior, so that through Him, your name will be written in the Book of Life. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever BELIEVES in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." (JOHN 3:16-17 NKJV) By God's GRACE, the gift of Salvation and Eternal Life is available to all. You can RECEIVE it. You can REJECT it. May you choose wisely.

I can understand that it does take courage to walk away but it becomes messy when we have a child together and she's using our son against me as a pawn I hate that cause I've honestly changed and she probably thinks that I haven't changed. I could honestly care less about her anymore cause God told me who my God ordained spouse is So anyways God bless everyone who comes across this comment 🕊️🙌🔥🎚️

Sorry to hear that. Your comment makes me glad I'm single. I can't imagine getting married and having a woman do that or worse to me. And the courts usually take HER side. By doing that, they're hurting husbands and the children worst of all. Even if a man wins, he's villifed in other ways. Don't have to the restraint to deal with that BS. You have my sympathy.😎💯👍💯
