If you want to walk away and not sure, u may say you just need a space for now, and tell them you are not leaving them, just need a space a few days, etc, and you will see in that time how whole dynamic works. But if you said you are gone, both have to figure out tht how it worked before it doesn't work, and both willing to work towards both interests, other wise it will be death with thousand cuts.

This is a great Video. This brings back painful memories which i have been enduring. My relationship of 5 years ended 3 months ago. It Works on frienships too! Once my best friend walked away from me because i wasn’t respecting her boundries I was shocked. I wasn’t doing it on purpose but I needed that wake up call and after some time I apologised and changed my behaviour. Our friendship since then never been better. I respect her 100%. @roser8911Mature thought….sometimes if we stuck at situation where we think if i keep myself at distance he will respect me and love me more but … if person can’t value you in your presence, n start missing you when u walk away it means he didn’t appreciate you for who r at first and when he stopped getting that special treatment from others after you walked away ..is the reason he started respecting you… even if he comes back chances are more his behaviour would be same.
