I really don't think a g@y twInk gets to decide what "masculinity" is or isn't. I like some of D'angelo's talking points, but he's the least qualified to speak on what masculinity is as the most feminine g@y black man on youtube. I thought he was trans or non-binary honestly. I was acutally shocked that he called himself a "man."

He has forgotten Eastern European women survived communism for over 70 years and then there were medieval times with warrior women defending their homes and such. As a fellow Eastern European woman, I completely agree. For cultural reasons a lot of us here still choose to present themselves in a very stereotypically feminine way (this is and will continue to change as we feel less pressure to conform to your typical beauty standards), but I've yet to meet a Western guy who came to my country in search of that legendary "submissive feminine female" and NOT ended up impressed with how decisive, enterprising and smart women here generally tend to be. Little Andy is a laughable.

I was r*ped and brutally attacked (almosed choked to death) by a close friend of mine in my own bedroom when I was 22. I've known him for years so it was completley unexpected. I only told my mother at the time, but when later that year I spiraled into clinical depression and attemted suiside, my father demanded to know why I did it and my mom pressured me to tell him. So I did. And even though it has been 18 years ago, I will never forget his words: " well what did you expect? You invited him". (I haven't spoken to my father in over 15 years now, not just because of that) I am really ok and over the r*pe trauma. But about a year ago when I suddenly started seeing Tate's name everywhere, and didnt know who he was, I came across those headlines of him saying that r*pe is a womans fault, and all of the trauma from the r*pe and from the talk with my dad just rushed back and overwhelmed me to such an extent that I had a massive panic attack. And since then everytime I saw Tates name I felt sick. I wholeheartedly wish him all the worst things in life, starting with a long prison sentence for what he did to those poor women. Thank you for this great video! I can't believe how much research and suffering of Tates content you had to endure just to inform us all. Greatly appreciated.

I work for a charity involved with sexual exploitation, we call it 'the boyfriend model'. There was a very famous case in England (I want to say Rochester but I could be wrong) of a huge child prostitution ring that used this model. NSPCC have a brilliant short animated video called the story of Jay if anyone is interested in learning more about how this method is used to groom young women into prostitution (often without the women/girls even realising they are involved in prostitution).

What you said about middle school boys and Andrew Tate is 100% correct. I'm a middle school art teacher and last year, I had two students who idolized Andrew Tate and would try to antagonize me and the girls in my classroom with Andrew Tate quotes and glowing descriptions of his many cars. Nothing I said to the contrary would dissuade them in their idolization. They would try to further antagonize me by asking me what color my Bugati was. I responded by asking them what color the inside of Andrew Tate's prison walls were. I wish I could say that they shut up after that, but they just doubled down on their praise of him. Honestly, the worst thing was watching them interact with their mothers during parent/teacher meetings. They treated their moms like garbage and their moms were so embarrassed and upset by their actions. I can't imagine how their moms felt about their sweet little babies growing up and turning into mini Andrew Tates.

I don't like how insecurity is used as something to mock people with. The people who're you calling insecure are just going to get angrier when they read stuff like this. Shitty people shouldn't be mocked because they'll only be pushed to the fringes and build their own little dark place there, which is objectively worse for society. They need sympathy, and this is coming from somebody who actually loved Andrew Tate until my friend convinced me against him. If he'd laughed at me, I would have only sped up my descent into stupidity.
@Ghoulia17
@Ghoulia17 Жыл бұрын
@@kevinhansen9258 I think there’s a place for both approaches. You’re right that many people need to be sympathized with in order to break from Tate, but don’t underestimate the power of cringe. A lot of the guys I’ve known to be Tate fans have reacted very poorly to being “coddled” as they put it, but when they would see Tate and his fans as cringe it would create a visceral disgust in them that would actually prompt self reflection. D’Angelo’s approach to moving people away from horrible figures tends to be more of a disgust approach, but there are other KZbinrs who take the empathetic approach (ContraPoints is a big example) and you may enjoy those more

@@j.h.agonzales7936 Divorce, she gets a job, kids get to spend more time with her, she doesn't stay in a toxic environment. You can't control everything or make a situation perfect. Nobody's encouraging her to stay for the sake of her kids. Ultimately, she has to divorce if the marriage is abusive. She has to reach that conclusion herself, you can't force it upon her either. So from the outside you can't do shit but offer your support, emotionally mainly.

Kids aren't gonna praise the father that doesn't give a shit about them. When kids turn into their abusive parents they do it because they've been faced with challenges too and don't know how to cope to stay mentally healthy given already how vulnerable they were. Trust me, those kids aren't gonna be isolated to the point where being toxic and abusive is the norm. They're smart enough to piece it together that they're in a fucked spot. As a kid who grew up in a household that can be best described as a 3 way WWE smackdown, I knew that all the violence I was around and engaged in was not normal from a very young age. At around age 8, I envied my friends who had functional family units that didn't beat each other up and sat together to eat dinner. A shitty father is going to fuck up the kids anyways, divorce or not. So ultimately, one needs to cut their losses, divorce, then work on a plan from there. It's too god damn unworkable staying in a toxic environment, you're left weak. I'm probably not going to help your friend and you won't be able to enforce any change without being overly intrusive, but should you end up in a situation like hers, remember my words. My condolences and prayers for your friend. Your best bet is she comes to you about it, and for the meanwhile you keep checking in on her and remain a safe place for her.

What terrifies me about Andrew Tate isn't that he's spreading a bunch of total nonsense, it's that he's giving people a tutorial on how to basically emotionally abuse women until they are a shell of a person, at which point they will submit to you and stop caring about/prioritizing their own life because they have nothing left of themselves. I've been in that position because my former boyfriend learned it from his father. I don't want anyone else to be treated like that. And the idea that a bunch of teenage boys are being taught how to perpetuate an abuse cycle (that they might not have otherwise been a part of) under the impression that it's a _good_ thing to do is fucking disgusting.

It's one of the most refreshing things I've ever witnessed regarding these very real societal issues and traumas... I never experienced justice for what I was subjected to. I was only abused, disowned or treated with complete indifference for speaking up... it became too much, far too damaging... so I don't speak about it anymore to try and protect myself... but now I've seen your video, and it's made me feel like someone genuinely cares, and is willing to speak up about rape, coercion, grooming and similar issues. As someone who is Eastern European I find how Andrew talks about Romanian women so fucking funny. He describes them as these good, christian believing, obedient creatures that have traditional family values and do anything for their man. This is a very common belief for western men, who are convinced that women in the west have been so corrupted by feminism and that women here are the only remaining saviours. In fact these men are (unsurprisingly) really weird and fetishise our women. I am not Romanian, but I am Balkan and we don’t take shit from anyone, even our partners. If you get in a fight with a Balkan woman she will literally insult everything about you. The only reason why Tate has that perspective is because the women he’s around are probably draining his pockets because our wages are really low. Furthermore women in Eastern Europe are far more likely to work than women in Western Europe, Lithuania has one of the highest gender equalities in EU, while a country like Italy has one of the lowest. Granted this isn’t because we are such a progressive place, but it is because of our socialist past where everyone worked. However this still goes against what tate is preaching.

But the second you come at them with some bullshit its not going to be a good time. i recently rewatched a bunch of the testimony at larry nassar's various trials, and seeing those women andrew wrote his name on so everybody would know they were his property standing up for him reminded me distinctly of what i saw in a lot of those testimonies. at nassar's trial, every victim who had filed a police report was welcome to come and make a victim impact statement. there was no deadline for making the report. as the televised trial continued, more and more former victims found out what was going on and came forward. the number of impact statements kept climbing. in the end well over a hundred women and girls made statements. i think the trial was eight days long. originally planned to be three. and something happened in the last few days of the trial. women came forward who had previously been adamantly supporting him. it was just treatment, it wasn't abuse! larry loved us. he would never do that to us. but as they watched other victims describe his MO and what it did to them, they realized they had also been abused. and they came forward. i wouldn't be surprised if when there's finally a trial, these marked women realized they were being abused. i hope they do, so they can heal.

I'm gonna be honest, Tate openly admitted to human trafficking. When he was bragging about how he got girls to live with him and made them do camcorder shit? And how he said he made them love him first? That is literally human trafficking. Human trafficking happens all the time because so many people do not recognize what it is and are unable to call it out when they see it. It's horrifying. He literally bragged about it.

The point is that simply telling men to "stop raping women" is about as effective as telling people to "stop stealing". The best way to protect yourself is to avoid situations where rape is more likely. Off course you're never going to be fully protected, you could get raped by people you know, or jogging in the park. But making it less likely to get raped is the best you're going to get in this world unfortunately.

I remember when Danny Gonzalez did his video on Andrew Tate, and specifically the war room, in early 2022. He read from Tate’s about me section where he describes dating women making them “fall in love with him” and then convincing them to do cam work. I made a comment saying “that’s human trafficking”, and some Tate stans tried to argue that it wasn’t. One of the more common forms of human trafficking is men coercing women they have intimate relationships with to participate in sex work for them. If you are using manipulation and coercion to make someone preform sex work for you that is human trafficking.

This guy is BY FAR the reason my friend changed for the way worse. Ik he isnt really the reason to blame for this but the timeline of events is uhhh not that in tates favor, so basically my friend started going down the (pretty damn cringy) sigma male rabbit hole and i just hate that, of course that led him to the tate rabbit hole. After a week-ish time he came out to me as homphobic (yea this is kind of a dumb reason for me to think he change, but he didnt really seem like the homophobic type.) And that REALLY worried me (im pan and nb plus still in the closet) that basically blocked me from coming out in an already homophobic country. A few months later (this is DEFF related yo tate in my opinion) he started working out to a worrying degree, like not ok, he still does this to this day. It hurts seeing him tell me everyday about how much he worked out especially from my past with food and over working myself and honestly its just pretty worrysome to see him (if he even tells the thruth) that all that shit he does to himself (NOTHING WRONG WITH WORKING OUT) is scary. Another thing that happened is he worship basically psychopaths and that is SO FUCKUNG SCARY. Now he just sort of ignores me whenever i talk to him (i am not the most masculine guy, prolly cause i dont even wanna be a guy, but eh the more you know ig), well i just sort of want my old friend back but i know the person that i originally became friends with is dead and im pretty sure hes never coming back. Tldr: my friend started to worship tate and now he is worrying me too much.

This is nitpicking and not the point of the video, but as a life long fight fan, his kickboxing career is extremely suspect and does not deserve credibility. Saying he was “The World Champion” is a misnomer because all combat sports have multiple different championships for each weight class depending on promotional companies, regions, sports governing bodies, etc. Winning a belt is only worth the value of the specific belt, and he never fought in major companies like K1 or Glory, so he was never globally recognized in the sport and no one in combat sports takes him seriously. On top of that his actual record is heavily padded with wins over many opponents with 5 fights or less experience (sometimes making their debut) when he already had a long career. I’m only 10 minutes in so maybe this is addressed later, and even if not I realize this is a dumb point to get stuck on, but he never should’ve been believed beyond his fake credentials and it makes me sad how easy it was for him to lie his way into having such a big audience.

My girlfriend's little brother (13) recently asked me about Tate. He had seen some funny clips of him online, some of his friends at school liked him and he wanted to know more about him. I was quick to explain Tate's horrible opinions, the terrible things he's said and most likely done, and just basically why no one should ever look up to that piece of sh*t. It was a little scary seeing how this smart, funny, caring kid could come so close to going down that hateful rabbit hole.

My little brother who is normally such an empathetic, loving and sensitive person (only behind closed doors, sadly) has also internalized Tate views. He is literally such sweet sensitive person with the biggest heart when he doesn't feel like he has to put on a persona in front of his friends. It breaks my heart my beloved brother who secretely cried for me when I failed a semester and was depressed about it for a year, is also agreeing with these hateful views about me and other women. I don't think it's the boys themselves who are hateful, most of them have some insecurity or problem, go seeking answers like everyone does, find Tate then get indoctrinated. We need resources for men and these young boys that can help them with their problems without teaching them to hate half the population whom they deep down want love and care from but are indoctrinated into thinking acting macho and "alpha" is what's gonna get them there.

Tate is the epitome of a man who idolizes his father and despises his mother. He sees everything through that lens. His father (in his eyes) was handsome, successful, disciplined, and a genius. While his mother was domineering and “forced him” away from his dad to live in poverty. His mother was the “mean feminist” who stole him away from his doting father, destroying the family unit. Must suck to see your sons that you brought into this world grow up to be just like your abuser if not, worse. It's so bad that even Andrew's sister cut ties with all of them. This is why having a mother figure in your life is so important. Andrew's life is basically going down hill. After all that time he spent going to jail, people are finally starting to see the truth and are turning against him. All his crimes are coming to light, he's basically digging up his own grave at this point. Kudos to their mother who kept her daughter away from all this mess. Now they're living a very peaceful and normal life. No drama, no mess.

This man has influenced so many kids in a bad way I'm a 13 year old in middle school. I am a female and the worst thing about my daily life right now is the fact that young boys around my age 13-14 who believe this man has the power of god. Andrew has made these boys believe that bullying women is a power move. They think that quoting him in the middle of math class and telling the teacher that "your job doesn't matter, i can just do buisness" which is honestly degrading to the person in front of you, is a power move. I live in a Conservative country where women are silenced. These boys are being brought up to think that they are the owners of women and they only need to follow some easy steps to be successful. Now you may say "i aint reading allat🙄" but this is a serious issue and whatever andrew tates goals are he is just making young boys become narcissistic and have a big ego when they're just bullies

its an ideology that most in the manosphere have. You need to sleep with and conquer as many "virtuous, virgin" women as possible to improve your value as a man...but at the same time any woman willing to sleep with you/multiple men in her life is a whore to be avoided. Additional to that, any woman so virtuous that she would NOT sleep with you to protect her virginity that is so desired, is also a whore to be admonished for not "giving it up" because you "earned it". But once she's slept with you no other man should want her, and you shouldn't stay with her because staying with your first lover is being a "simp" and a "beta male". Its not logical or rational, its a feedback loop created by their emotions about wanting pure women but having sex with lots of women at the same time. And they call us the emotional/irrational sex.

maybe just because of the naming convention of 'assault,' many people still think SA happens because victims get over-powered or outrun, as though this is a problem like being mugged, which could be solved at scale by avoiding dark alleys, fighting back or pepper spray. When in reality, it's usually that victims get caught off guard, in a place they feel safe, by someone they trust. In most cases, SA is not an attack as much as a betrayal.

I definitely think “responsibility” is the wrong word. I think caution is a better word. When it happens, it happens. For whatever reason it happens, it’s definitely important to protect yourself where you can. You can protect yourself and still become a victim, but it does lower the chance.

@@walter7787 Maybe so, but the issue is, people are placing the majority of the focus on the 'protecting yourself, and if you don't, you're at fault' vs villianizing the people who are attacking people the second they get a chance.

You can really sum up his personality to his upbringing: his father was an adulterous diagnosed narcissist and you definitely see that in Andrew and his brother

Where did you find out that his father was diagnosed with NPD?
@honinakecheta601
@honinakecheta601 Жыл бұрын
@@RavenM-vt4yc He spoke about his father in a podcast video: essentially, his father was some sort of American spy (his job was how he met Andrews mother in the UK, his father was from my home city chicago), the military wanted to honorably discharge him due to his diagnosis but his father refused because he didn't believe he was sick (ironic that the diagnosed *narcissist* rejects being a narcissist right???) Anyway, he also has spoken about how his father treated their mother and how he had other children by different women. I don't have the exact podcast link, but he talks a lot about his dad, if you listen to the things he talks about you get an "aha" moment because it becomes obvious why he is the way he is.

@@honinakecheta601 I believe personality disorders are under the protection of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The military would be courting a discrimination lawsuit. They can discharge him for problematic behavior and actions, but not his personality. I’m curious if Andrew Tate is actually being truthful about his dad’s story.

@@sabersky1134 That's a good point tbh, but then also it depends on the year he would have been asked to be discharged because that act was made in 1990. His father married andrews mother in the eighties, it could have been they wanted to discharge him for it before the act was passed

It’s honestly insane how so many people support Andrew Tate and claim people who criticize him are just “soft feminists”. Like no, this man was involved with human trafficking. That is serious shit.

Supporting Andrew Tate is an equivalent of supporting Charles Manson, Jeffrey Dahmer, or other evil people. Bottom line, a person who is an online celebrity that commits any type of serious crimes shouldn’t be looked up to.
