This is our commentary reaction to the movie "That's My Boy" (2012). While still a teen himself, Donny (Adam Sandler) fathered a son,Todd (Andy Samberg), and raised him as a single parent. On Todd's 18th birthday, Donny cut the youth loose. After years of estrangement,the older man shows up unexpectedly on the eve of his son's wedding day, sending the young man's life into a tailspin. Donny wants desperately to reconnect with Todd, but he must now deal with the repercussions of the bad parenting he exhibited in the past.

Funny movie. I saw it opening weekend in the theater and still enjoy it. As for some of the cast members, you did point out some. Yes, the financial advisor is played by Rex Ryan, who was the Jets head coach at the time the movie was being made. I also find it funny since his twin brother Rob actually worked under Bill Belichick for a few seasons. Ciara played the stripper's daughter and is also the wife of Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson. The guy you laughed at that you mention from Grandma's Boy was Peter Dante, who used to appear frequently in Adam Sandler's movies. As for Adam Sandler movies you haven't done reactions to, my first pick is Funny People. It's not one of his typical comedies, but he's good in it and the movie is more dramatic, but still has some funny moments. I also highly recommend Anger Management, which he did with Jack Nicholson. Seeing those two together is a lot of fun.

So when I seen it and when Susan Sarandon came on screen I was just like oh my God that is so awesome. I did not watch this in theaters but I did eventually watch it once it came out on Redbox.
