Great post! You are a welcome wealth of knowledge. When a young guy, I worked at an audio/record store and purchased many of the LP’s you are featuring. Nautilus and Sheffield. Got the Police, Loggins & Messina, Allman Brothers and many more. Thelma Houston and Pressure Cooker was a demo standard. Thanks for bringing back memories.

Like these PP & ME vids. I have several of the Impulse KM LPs, the Duets and Thelma Houston LP. All purchased when they were new.

I am a late bloomer in terms of my appreciation of Coltrane. Can't get enough.

Look for the Direct to Disk version of Thelma Houston. When the lacquers wore out, they used the analog tape to make the treasury series lp.

Great video post on another excellent pressing plant. Perhaps one on the Tranco Pressing Plant in the UK, who were known, among other artists, for their fantastic translucent original Elton John pressings of the 70s, from his Self-titled LP right up through Rock of The Westies.

Ah, so that's the cute little guy who's been chewing those squeaky toys! Good one Tim, I'm gonna check on that Coltrane. I have the 4 or 5 CD set of the complete Vanguard, so I'll see how those sound and maybe check out that KM pressing. Sorry I've been dragg'n my feet on that RUSH album Tim, I should hopefully finally get that out to you in the next day or so.
