I’m so scared about feeling like I’m behind compared to my classmates that are going to 4-years. I know everyone has a different path and CC is a great choice, but I can’t seem to stop feeling this way :/

Hailey, I just want to thank you for all of your videos, they were super helpful during my application process, and I don't think I would have been as successful without them. I just recently got accepted to every UC I applied to - LA and Berk included! Thank you for doing your best to shatter the negative stigma around community college. Hi Hailey!! thank you for this video since I can 100 percent relate to it! Also, I got admitted into UCLA for this upcoming fall as a transfer but I am having a big dilemma! I got into UCLA as a sociology major but I really want to do Nursing. I got into Calstate San Bernardino as a Pre- Nursing Major but it’s not a guarantee that I would get into the actual Nursing Program since it’s highly impacted! Idk if I should just go to UCLA and get a bachelors degree and then later on apply to a nursing program. This is a really hard decision.

Hey Hailey, how long did it take for you to choose your school? I just got accepted to Cal yesterday. But I’m still waiting for UCLA. I want to know how long it took you to decide, cause I don’t want to miss out on schools events and housing opportunities by the time I commit to a school. Also I still need tour campus.

The choice was pretty much a no-brainer for me. Once I got my financial packages I made my decision within a few days. I don't think you'll miss out on any events considering they will probably be online this year. And in my experience, housing applications and such don't need to be filled out until after you commit.

I want to go to mission college because its a semester system and I know I will do better in a semester system than a quarter system. But my parents want me to go to De Anza which is a quarter system and has a way higher transfer status then Mission College. I know they are right but at the same time I just dont want to do bad. No matter where I am going I will have to take risks. I dont know which college to pick. I dont want to disapoint them but also at the same time I don't want to regret anything.

Hi Clara, I don't really know much about CCSF, aside from that a few years ago they almost lost their accreditation. I'm not sure of any websites geared toward housing, but I think craigslist would probably be a good starting place. Sorry I can't be more helpful!
