Hey Hailey! I just wanted to thank you so much for your videos. I was a one year transfer student applying to the UC's last fall and I got into almost every UC I applied to, including UCB and UCLA, in part because of your videos. The information with assist, AP credits, understanding pre major reqs, IGETC, TAP and TAG, all helped me succeed when I would've been overlooked by counselors who don't share a lot of this information. You and your channel are amazing resources for any community college student who's stressing out about transferring, knowing their path through community college, and just needing a little extra support. Thank you so much for your help along the way. You're amazing!

A good way to guarantee your entry into a PhD program in Psychology is to get some hands on experience with research. The CSU Psychology curriculum is not heavy on research preparation. A good gpa and the prerequisite courses will get you in, but already having been a research assistant will make it so you have better options on which professors you can work with. Good luck out there.

I have a more personal question, I heard that it's a lot harder to transfer from other schools than transferring from community colleges from California. What do you think about transferring from other schools instead of a community college?
@HaileyDollarGoesToCollege3 жыл бұрын
Hi Spencer, CCC students are given priority consideration over all other transfer applicants since CCC was designed for the purpose of transferring. It is not impossible to transfer from other 4 year or out of state schools , but the odds are much slimmer.

@HaileyDollarGoesToCollege3 жыл бұрын
Hi Carl, I cannot comment on chances of admissions as I do not work for the admissions committee at any school. Of course it is preferable to not have Ws, but the application review is holistic so the only way to find out is to apply and see what happens.
