I have this Adams power washer and use it a lot. And love it. The reason for the weight, is it has a very large electric motor which equates to a large rotor and stator. Larger electric motors are not cheap. As when working with any type of lines carrying fluids, lube the O-rings with that particular fluid, whether transmission or oil lines, I lube the O-rings with a little soap, the fittings go in easily. I can take any size hose and bend it to the point where it kinks. With the exception of very large industrial hoses. The fittings can be found anywhere. The threads in the fitting, where you attach the water hose are metal. The threads where the fitting attaches to the washer body are plastic, but very coarse threads and withstand a lot of torque, which this fitting does not need. Obviously this fitting is never removed once installed. The pump body can be separated if necessary, you just need to be smart enough to do it. Your video did highlight one thing, your the idiot, not the other two guys you referred to.

You are demonstrating your lack of self confidence and attaching your self worth to a cheap pressure washer. Just because your pressure washer is junk doesn't mean that you are too. I don't attach my worth to any of this stuff, and it is what I work with everyday. Time in a field does not make you and expert. Pursuit of knowledge does. Sounds and looks like (and the remark about the weight) they are induction motors instead of universal motors. I recently learned what is important about this. Induction motors are quieter and live longer, but they are heavier and, most importantly imo, induction motors draw A LOT more in-rush current. We are talking 3-6x their running current if not more depending on their specs, but good luck getting anyone at any of these companies to give you such technical specs--I tried. Often they don't even know themselves and it would seem that they'd rather frustrate one guy looking for a weirdly specific answer than go through all the effort to actually GET that answer for him. The spike of current required for motors to start-up is impossible to measure without super fancy and expensive meters, so don't expect Matt to measure in-rush current of anything. On household circuits this may or may not be important as households tend to be forgiving of momentary spikes, but if you want to run an induction motor off of a generator like I did, you're going to need a beast of a generator in order to supply what may be well over 40 amps (which equates to like 4500 watts minimum at 110v). As a mobile detailer, I've been relegated to using a K1700 due to my frequent reliance on my 3400 watt inverter generator. Many of my clients only have 15 amp circuits available to me anyway, and quality units like the AR630 draw more than 15 amps just to run; tripping clients' circuit breakers is never a great look.

Karcher clearly states that no electric pressure can exceed 2000 psi on USA 120v. Their actual pressure washers that exceed 2000 have to have 220v, and not available in the USA. Just thought I’d add that to the conversation, since I’ve seen way too many electric pressure washers claiming such a high psi. Most detailers would never need that much power anyway. Unless you’re in the paint removal business.

I have a Powerhouse international pressure washer, 300.00, I love the power which I rated at just over 2000 psi with a 40 degree tip. Its advertised at 3000 but it beats the shit out of the brushless sunjoe 3500 model that claims 2300 psi, with much more water flow to boot. Powerhouse model uses a sealed tri-plex plunger motor/pump , at first I was wanting a brushless motor but after research I found that the commercial big boys use tri-plex plunger(unsealed) motors. The powerhouse company is based out of montana I think and if you call them you talk to the owner like everytime. Nice lady. The only downside is the proprietary connector from pump to hose,(great hose btw), with the m22 adaptor still not available I searched high and low. After many months I finally found out that certain REALM models use the same connector and they carry a m22 to realm proprietary adaptor. I got the last one currently! Well it fit on the powerhouse and I coupled it to a 100 foot eagle hose and an mtm sgs28 with swivel, cox hose reel and wall mounted the unit. Wired to a dedicated 20 this thing is finally in proper form. Matt I wouldnt have gone down this rabbit hole without ya bud, thank you. As to all the amazon junk models, the powerhouse is miles ahead of ryobi's and sun joes top models. BTW the proprietary connector is the same as the one in your video so pretty soon you can get an adaptor to m22. I also measured it at 1.5 gpm and 2000 psi with a gauge at the wand , and 5 gallon bucket w/stopwatch and 40 degree tip

Thank you so much Matt I was thinking about buying the Adam's one but I'll stick with my Greenworks 2200 I get great foam with it now after buying your package. This Adams one just a plastic piece of junk not worth the asking price on their site almost $400.00 glad I didn't buy it. If Adams wants their own pressure washer they should pay a company that already makes pressure washers to build them instead of slapping stickers on a cheap import and calling it their own. A lot of stuff Adams sells is way to high to I mean honestly car foam almost 70 bucks for a gallon of their new foam. Chemical guys is cheaper and they don't slap their sticker on someone else's product. I bought the spotless rinse from your store to and I don't know what the problem is but it wants to leaves after I use soap even when the soap is not supposed to leave spots.

I don't think that is the intent. They know their customer base really well and know what that customer is looking for in a product. For most people this will likely be just fine for them. Forgot this, you did not strip the threads with that little bit pressure that you showed yourself applying, your intent in the beginning was to destroy the machine, right? Common sense. If the threads where stripped, you did it intentionally, then either edited it out or restarted the video. Also mine does not leak. And give me the reel any day versus manually looping a smaller diameter power washer hose.

I didn’t beak the inlet. My employee did tightening down too much which is easily done.

Electric power washers are worthless. Too many compromises and a waste of money when you end up having to buy a better power washer two years down the road. I have an 8 year old DeWalt gas powered pressure washer I swear by. I bought it after reading all of the horrible reviews of electric models like these. The DeWalt is reliable and ridiculously easy to use and to adjust the PSI up/down (3800 max) for each job.
