This is The Pretenders song from the '90s, they were more mellower during the '90s. But, they were also around during the late '70s and '80s. A little more heavier than this song. Not only this song was written by Chrissie Hynde but also by the tag team of Billy Steinberg and Tom Kelly who also wrote so much hits in the 80s and 90s (Cyndi Lauper, Heart, The Bangles, Madonna, Whitney Houston and so on). As songwriters of the 80s, they are up there along with Diane Warren, Desmond Child, Holy Knight, Mutt Lange, Jim Steinman and another tag team, Tommy Shaw & Jack Blades.
