A funny moment when Bob doesn't get the wheel all the way around. Original airdate: October 2, 2003

One of the funniest instances of this was in the early 1990's when a little old lady couldn't get the wheel all the way around so Bob spun for her and also failed to get it all the way around, and the little old lady said "would you like me to try again?" Brought the house down.

It has been like a running gag for the audience to boo you if you do not spin the wheel all the way around.
@Ultimate23Dragon10 жыл бұрын
Now considering that this was in 2003, which means Bob was 80 years old, & he did that spin with 1 ARM while holding the mic with the other, this isn't really that embarrassing. I've seen people a quarter of that age spin the wheel with BOTH arms & not get it all the way around. Don't be embarrassed Bob. 1 arm at 80 years old & you were 1 notch from getting it all the way around? That's actually pretty good!

the contestant offered to hold the mic in the first place, so i don't feel any sympathy for Bob. Bob was on the show too many years and could get really obnoxious at times.

Bob had a rule for himself to NEVER let the contestant have the microphone. Doing so, of course, risks having the contestant take over! It was quite evident that Tyler wasn't going to hijack the show, so he just let him hold his mike.
@vhsorbeta9511 ай бұрын
Not true. He always handed the mic to the contestant when he demonstrated the Hole in One game with a practice putt.

Tyler thought that Bob was going to let him hold the microphone in the first place, he had his hand on it at 1:02 but Bob pulled it away from him, so that's what he gets! 😏

While true, the rule states that the wheel has to make a full rotation to count. Since it starts at a dollar, the first spin wasn't enough to count unless it landed on a dollar.
