God bless brother. I have had a sinful atheistic life and now at 40 with 2 children from a woman that was not my wife, the Lord Jesus is having me consider this beautiful vocation in the priesthood. My life is not textbook like one would expect, but I pray, hope and have faith Jesus has a plan for me as he has for you brother. Let us not be afraid of whatever He had made us for.

I have a 10 yo son who told us he wanted to be a missionary priest at 7 yo, telling us at that age he wanted to “take the Eucharist to the whole world”. He hasn’t outgrown this, and so we are working with him to grow spiritually and love God more. Please pray for my son, that if the priesthood is his calling may no one nor nothing move him from it.

Gabi, I would like to please ask for your prayers. I am a seminarian who converted from atheism while I was in college, and both of my parents are still nonbelievers. This has been a particularly difficult cross because of the lack of emotional or spiritual support from my family. I very much struggle with feeling like a spiritual orphan. However, the Lord is very good and has given me an amazing group of brothers and priests to open up to in a way that I can't with my parents. Your videos have been a huge blessing to me since I became Catholic, and the spiritual practices I learned from you are probably indirectly responsible for my discerning into seminary. i'm crying too. I am really struck by this since I am praying for my own parents who could not even bring my 3 siblings to receive confirmation, I'm the only one who had had the sacrament of confirmation. Our family has been broken for 17yrs now and we have been away from the church after that. I am slowly coming back to church and somehow I felt like it is my mission to pray for my family to go back to the church. Pls also pray for our family.

My husband and I went to a Pastoral Vocational workshop given by Leticia. Our priest sent us to this workshop to start promoting vocations at our Parish. Leticia got us all excited about this new mission. Not only am I helping in God's mission, but I am doing it with my husband,,,, who did not even want to attend this workshop, now he is all into it as well. God is just amazing... Please pray for all the parishioners who were sent to start these ministries in our own churches.

My son was ordained this past May for the Diocese of Jackson. I can so relate to the words that the parents shared in the video, and I shed some tears watching it. We must normalize the call to the priesthood for young men. We also must continue to pray for those discerning and for those that are already ordained. This is heartwarming. And parents like this are a gift from God. I was at the ordination of a young priest a few years ago whose parents were both atheists, and raised him thus but seems God had plans for him. And they lovingly supported their son ever step of the way and were in church for his ordination and first mass and proud of him. That's what good parents do.

I feel like this is a very real situation most single Catholic men face when we get to a certain age. After a while of being single it gets to the point where priesthood could be an option. It’s a really hard decision. I relate to this at the moment.

I pray that my 14 year old son will discern becoming a priest in the future but he currently refuses to confess and take communion. I pray for him everyday and ask for Mary’s intercession to guide him to her Son. We need more priest who can reach our youth.

@@gabiafterhours thank you 🙏🏼 I’m in Arizona. I spoke with his youth minister to not dismiss him but to encourage him. He starts high school next year. I do plan on sending him to the Steubenville conference here this summer but I’m open to other programes as well. My husband is currently going through RCIA. Mary has heard my daily rosary and prayers. He’s going through a conversion right in front of my eyes. She has restored my hope. Thank you for these videos! They are a real blessing. There’s a few I will play for my son to listen to as we drive to school 🙏🏼 I try to find what I can that he can listen to while I drive since he’s a captive audience in the car.

Hi Gabi. I just wanted some advice. I am quite reluctant to pray for some things such as getting taller because I am quite short for my age (I still have time to grow) and I'm not very good at interacting with people because I'm quite awkward and nervous. I want to change but I feel discouraged to pray for these things because I feel like I deserve it like this is how I pay for all the wrong things I have done and that I don't deserve to pray for it. So now I thought maybe I should pray 'if it's your will please make me taller and if it's your will, please make it easier for me to talk to people'

I personally wouldn't pray to be taller or shorter. I WOULD and do recommend you pray to the Holy Spirit to give you better communication skills. How you treat others and how you respond to them is something you can practice and naturally be good at... AND God's grace perfects human nature. Check out a great book or audio book called how to win friends and influence people.

When I was a kid I really considered to become a priest someday-I used to serve as an altar boy at my local church-time and life got me away from that idea I had in mind when younger. I am 37 now, and sometimes I even find it difficult to believe in God sometimes-so guys... pray for me, cause I often experience this sense of being lost and not finding any meaningful purpose to continue living.

@adolfo piura, God is there with you, every step. He won't give you what you want but he will give you what you need but sometimes it's not 'packaged ' how you think it should be. Don't turn down a gift just because it arrived in a brown paper bag. There are many ways to serve the lord so keep praying and so will I. God bless.

Priests get posted to places where they know nobody. We have a parish roster for inviting our priest for dinner and on Fathers Day we donate on his behalf to Catholic charities and he also gets prayers and a lot of food 😊🎂. Priests do the most important things in our life 'Mass" and sacraments we can reciprocate.
