Everyone keeps talking about a moment he had on the MTV. I did all that as Prince. Because he inspired me as a heterosexual man. I pushed the boundaries in my world as an artist. I'm not as ostentatious anymore. But it was mainly because of his influence. People were speculating to this day about my sexuality. The ones who didn't know me. It told me something more about who they were. Today I look back at that time and laugh. I didn't need Instagram back in the late 80s and early 90s. Prince and Michael was enough. I did all that in Europe a little bit in America before I got out of there. Prince was an American pioneer. Although he himself was inspired to be himself and took it to the next level. Still had the finest women. He was more audacious than me. But I did take it there as well for a bit.

He did. Maybe not later on, but one of his most famous pics, the cover of Rolling Stone with Vanity... he's wearing jeans. I have many rehearsal videos and he's wearing jeans in quite a few.

Legion the point is he was not wearing skinny jeans before there was skinny jeans as she stated. It was rare that he wore jeans. The Rolling Stone pic barely shows his jeans and you just never saw him wearing jeans 99.9 percent of the time.

Of course I'm not saying he never wore jeans. The phrase rarely if ever by definition means a more forceful way of saying rarely or seldom. "Skinny jeans" was not something he was known for. In fact it was the opposite.
