Fascinating. It's a game thoroughly steeped in the original movie, to the extent that it makes absolutely no sense if you haven't seen it. But given how many people can quote half of the lines off the top of their head, I think the game still works.

2:54 question on the SPACES. In chapter 2 we have SPACES with numbers, names, both numbers and names (like your video mentions) and THEN spots that have neither a number nor a name. Are these SPACES? Or just part of the path?

So we had our first playthrough last night and me, being the diligent reader I am, missed the "For All Chapters" set up and just went with the general set up at the beginning of the rulebook, which does not mention players starting with 4 cards. That being said, we came close to beating the first Chapter.

I have this game. It isn't as hard to learn as it initially seems, but I would recommend practice. It's fun. The Cliffs of Insanity is my favorite part.

Excellent How to Play...and I mean it! :) Question on Chapter 2. You mention in your video that "spaces" either have a number, words or both. In Chapter 2 there are what appear to be spaces but have neither words or numbers. Specifically the space between 3 & 4 and the space between 1 & 10 (which has the star icon). Neither are numbered or named, but I am assuming these are spaces. Is that correct?

So, got a question for you. In the first chapter when you draw a plot card. It says you redraw another if you get 16-20. So, if when I redraw and get another 16-20, do I redraw again or just the one time?

You would follow the instructions of each card (and could end up redrawing multiple times).

Could you clarify how the Challenge cards (The Story Cards) are fulfilled? Does the active player have to have them all? Can they be set aside as the cards are pulled while you fulfill the other portions of the challenge?

Hey Betty, once you satisfy the conditions of a challenge, then 'at that time' the active player can discard the required cards to complete the challenge. You can't be setting the cards aside a bit at a time leading up to that point. They must have all the required cards in hand and discard them then. Hope that helps!

So... playing through with my 10 year old daughter... And sort of at a stand still. Chapter 4 ends if you receive 3 wounds , for a hazard, however, you are required to visit each hazard, which there are 3. 🤷‍♀️... So not sure how to win the chapter ..🤔

I just lent my copy, so I don't have it handy to check for you, but I asked a friend who has it and their tips were: "Don't move onto the hazards.. and avoid the giant rats :) (and avoid moving onto a hazard if you don't plan to remove it).". Hopefully that helps!

We had that same question...the game would force an interruption if you got hit each time you tried to complete a challenge. As long as you can complete it when you move to that hazard, you won't get hurt...at least that is how we played.
