he's retired now great LT. a true leader. administration had it out for him because he called them out. he got tired of the drama so he walked. he's also a veteran US Army.

He's still a douche bag. All C0 beat the hell out of inmates and testify against them, tear up their cells, give petty 115s so they lose privileges like packages, store, yard, etc. Idk the man, and only watched his stream one time; and I left after he said the art of war was a great book. Or maybe he said 48 laws of power was great lol (precepts on how to manipulate ppl) . His military service means nothing if his career path after was being a weasel. There's no "but he's no longer with CDC". His last rodeo was breaking the wrists of an inmate with his baton

Just came across both these channels. Brought me back to when I used to work as a C/O. I've been in multiple riots. Anything is used as a weapon. In respect to the gym, the joint I was at in 2007 during the overcrowding, it was all level 3 even in the gym. Respect.

I like how the guards and inmates sound the same. Not sure that those that aren't from California know what I'm talking about, but I tripped me out when the guard started talking.

It’s not about inmates and guards sounding the same , sure they both know the same prison lingo, but it more of a cultural thing , that guard is also Mex American from the boarder area ! So it’s more the Chicano experience than a prison thing !If you grow up in California in any pre dominated Hispanic city and are 1st or 2 nd generation Mex Americans you pretty much sound and and carry yourself in that fashion if if you try to hid it !

I don't understand your meaning. Do mean the speech accent? Or, do you mean the jargon, and speech mannerisms? My initial reaction to your comment is that; they are one in the same. Time and familiarity meld any type of initial differences people have, and the politics become more prevalent. Especially between inmates and bosses. You cant seriously believe that you can't or won't adapt to the same habits and views as those around you over time, and incident. Before too long, the white guards don't mix with black guards, and vice versa. You'll hear and see a white Lt. berate Black bosses. Not out in the open, but you can hear 'en through the cat-walks, and pipe chases. You dont think animosity exists after that? The bosses themselves tell inmates and converse amongst themselves, and we listen. Of course they will never acknowledge it; but it does exist. Not only racially, but in their vices as well. Inmates got cliques, guards do too. Inmates got politics, so do guards. All aspects of life inside those places have subsets, and subcultures within them. We know which bosses are having marital issues, which ones are in debt. Which ones got substance addictions. There's guards who squabble with each other, just like inmates do. They play games just as dirty as the convicts do. Up to, and for being directly responsible for inmates' being fatally "dealt-with". They set up battles, squabbles, political incidents, and turmoil themselves. I learned how to create basic crude. weapons while in there, but I have also seen shiny free-world manufactured weapons in there; how do you think they ended up in there? It wasn't convicts. People get the idea that there are storage places where weapons exist for easy access. No. Weapons are made on "as-needed" basis, from items you can access. I literally witnessed this many times over the years, watching the behaviors of guards, from "new-boot bosses", to already experienced "old-head bosses". Yes, we watched them, like they watched us. How do you think convicts learn who plays, and who don't? Politics is a mu**a f****r.

He (probably) means the accent and also the cadence/pattern of speech. California cats absolutely have an accent. Especially the way people from Cali pronounce their R's. Also SoCal Hispanics have their own way of speaking. It always reminded me of some of the homies in Laredo amd San Antonio. It's kinda like everything they would say still sounded like a question. Especially when they throw in that "eh" at the end. They were always solid cats and solid businessmen. I'm from Houston, and when I used to go to Cali every 2 - 3 months or so, most of the Cali street guys I'd be there to see/meet up with thought I was from New York or Boston originally instead of Houston. So we would always clown each other for the accents. I'd always mock em and say : This shit right Herrrrre? Right herrrrrre!? And they always clowned me about my slang and the way I pronounce my R's. It was always live though.

My dad was a prison investigator for the state GA. He used to investigate gang violence cases and corrupt officer cases. Can confirm that guards in the south are very underpaid (below $70k) and very understaffed. Some GA prisons have a 5 to 1 inmate to guard ratio. Guards get paid so little they often times smuggle self phones and drugs in and sell them to the inmates. My dad investigated countless cases like that for years, it was non stop and it causes a lot of larger, more dangerous issues. Thanks for defending the south Dub, you are correct in what you said

An acquaintance of mine is a CO on rikers island and he said ever since the pandemic, rikers island is mad house again. CO’s walking around with fiber glass prison shanks, CO’s beefing with each other over who could smuggle contraband where lol 😂 inmates calling out CO’s to shoot the 5 because they know their back up is spread thin. By the time they pull that pin and the turtles arrive, that CO’s done got washed up.

I was there and ended up getting validated in ad seg shortly after. It stemmed from a hot head essentially hell bent on kicking it off do to a perceived disrespect. He ended up getting blasted because of his actions, and because of the fact, Camaradas lost their life. after the event many were deemed no good. And they were in turn blasted as well ,quite a few locked it up. The actual riot was chaos. Every time we got down as the shots reverberated through the yard, we regrouped and begin attacking again. I myself was scared, not of inmate violence, but I’m getting my cap peeled by a mini 14. Yet I muster the courage and followed suit. I’ve been in mini riots from the California authority To numerous yards and prisons and CDC. But none rules to the level of that day. I still have the CDC write up which came into phone book size binded books. It was intense and chaotic as one might imagine but there’s little choice. when things of this magnitude occur and you had to just muster the courage to see things through as once something like that starts you can’t ring the bell. I’m just grateful that I made it out unscathed but it’s the day I’ll never forget.

Whoa, that's weird.... First you ended up in my recommendations. Ended up subbing. Now less than a week later I'm getting this dude in my recommendations. I was going to subscribe until I got to looking further into his channel. He talks about quitting because of a ton of corruption that he had no control over and beats around the bush over a lot of topics without really answering any questions. I also noticed a bunch of times him going on about some kind of corruption and then saying "I'll be happy to fix this for you if you have me back or bring me back". The first couple times I heard this I didn't think much of it but he's said it so many times now that I'm wondering if he was fired and never quit in the first place...

The only beef I got with Prison Guard is his declaration that there is absolutely NO RETALIATION AGAINST A CONVICT FOR ASSAULT ON STAFF. EVEN WHEN STAFF GETS FROGGY AN INSTIGATES IT. BEEN IN THERE LONGER THAN HE WAS A C.O. An seen C.Os instigate knowing that they will have the the guy at there mercy. Seen beatings. Some foul play by C.Os. yet he didn't comment on this after opening the door. He seems like he was involved in assaults on Convicts. An probably got fired. 4 years from the promised land. Kinda odd to just quit.

I was in level3 wasco A yard in 94’ and the gym housed level 1 waiting to go to E yard and also housed level3 ( like myself)with less than 90 days to house . So it was a mix of levels but they were all short to the pad. My understanding about the gym was they could only house inmates a max of 90 days in those gyms because they were considered “ temporary housing “! And got away with keeping those gyms open by making sure inmates didn’t spend over 90 days house there!

The gym held level 3’s but you had to be within a year to the pad. They didn’t have lower levels there unless they were at another pen like the private prisons they use to have and got rolled up for riots or something then they would bring them

As strange as it is to say, the segregation 'system' is the best way to control/organize prisons. Look at what goes on in prisons in the southern US if you want to know why I think that segregation in prison is a good thing. In a lot of cases, if you are a 'weak' inmate entering the southern system with a short sentence...you are either going to leave with HIV or end up not leaving because you ended up turning that short sentence into a life sentence due to having to save your own life by taking another 'person's' life in self defense. It really is THAT bad in places like Louisiana and Alabama. Seriously. There are guys that will knock you out and then violate you after winning the fight. That crap actually goes on. Not as bad as in the past, but it still does go on. If you did that in California or in a USP, your own people would kill you. ....and above all of that, you would never even think or dream about doing something like that to someone of another race. ...it isn't racism. either. Your skin is almost like a uniform.
