Can someone please explain “blocs” to me? I figure it’s basically an alliance and you share troops, however, I still have to have a peace treaty with my bloc to stop them from trying to take my province (I’m playing US and Canada is in my bloc and they continue to claim my province, if someone ruins my reputation with my bloc one time, I can’t make them happy quickly enough since I gotta wait a whole year to do relations again) Also (and more importantly) I’m playing US, Canada is the ONLY country I can get to join my bloc, I know the bloc is better if it shares the same civilization ideology, good relations, the countries in the bloc should all like each other and not be enemies, and the military should be well off, BUT How come Sweden for example, still gives me a 21% chance to offer to join my bloc? They are friends with Canada who is already in my bloc, all share the same ideology, not super far away, my military is well over the minimum requirement, there aren’t any negative perks except for M.A.D which grants -3, I’m not a warmonger, they are in my stock exchange, relations is 100%, So why can’t I get them to join my bloc? Mexico always leaves cause they have a different culture and they form their own, all I have is Canada and smaller countries I can’t depend on, And even if I have all of that and have no one in my block, I still can’t get Sweden or any other country across the Atlantic or pacific to join my bloc because the chances are far too low

I've never played this or any of the Paradox games or whatever. In your opinion, is this generally harder or Victoria 2?
@novaimperialis3 жыл бұрын
Victoria 2 is deffinetely harder than this. This is only a light variant of a 4x game.

@@novaimperialis Okay thanks! I just bought both the other day on sale and guess I should start with V2 so that playing this game will seem easy in comparison.

Way too much over explaining and not enough "go here and do this". The information gathered here could have taken about 5 minutes.

What is best strategy for Philippines? Be economic or militaristic?
@novaimperialis3 жыл бұрын
Check the comment where someone asked something similar to this. The approach is the same for every nation. You need either to increase your total GDP using projects, or you conquer stuff. You can also combine them, which is actually my preferred method, but it requires more preparations. In the beginning its better to focus on one method and master it, then you can move to the next. Or even more simple than this, try to play as a major power, understand the game when you have every resources at your disposal, see what you can do and what you can't do, and then you will be able to play as a small nation as well. Untill then, every static strategy that I give will be of no use as you need to understand the logic behind it first in order to adopt it and it has some requirements whose implementation depends solely on this logic.

@@novaimperialis and the ap so I need to invest for "ap" like UN programs and colonization for projects (military), but one thing I'm confused is should I attack the south east asia mainlands(vietnam to myanmar) or austronesia islands like singapore, malaysia and indonesia

@@totoybibo7298 Start small. Beat the small nations that have the worst combat modifiers, that also have some adequate total GDP, so you can actually get a gain out of it. Untill then, try to have at least with one modifier more than your enemy that give your airforce better attack than them, as they can target armor if you first destroy their airforce. Also, try to make use of the military ad hocs. They can prove to be useful in such situations and for rapid early wars as they give combat moddiffiers some of them. You don't have to pay much maintance for them in the beginning. However, later on, they will be a drain to your AP. Also, are you playing the original or the sequal? The original didn't had mod support from what I remeber. If that's the case, then what I say wouldn't be useful as they are completely different games. And what UN for AP projects? Aren't those in the sequal as well?

Hello hello sorry can you tell me how to make a political annexation in New power DLC?
@novaimperialis3 жыл бұрын
You need to have a block first. From the block screen you can see then an option for unification with the allies that you have in the block. You will also see the level of integration that's required to have inside the block before being able to integrate your allies. In order to reach integration you need to pass reforms inside the block menu that will give different effects to the entirety of the block and also some negatives. For instance, if you pass all the reforms, you will then need to have a high upkeep in terms of relation maintenance with your allies or block members. If you won't be able to maintain relations high with your block members, then they will have a monthly chance of leaving your block depending on the discrepancy between the ratio of what your relations with them is at the current time and what integration level you have inside your block.

Until you will increase your taxes or the total GDP, you will continously be on the negative. You need to implement GDP growth projects or other projects which give instant GDP. Or just became authoritarian and conquer your way of gaining GDP. If I will get more visualizations, I will continue the series and I will show you how you can implement those ideas that I have discussed in the first video. Untill then try experimenting and see what works.
