The Problem(s) with Video Game Remakes

I fully agree on this I remember they are games that I remember when playing through the remakes of the recent with Resident Evil 2, Dead Space and RE 4. there are things that did better than the original and is amazing when the certain games that still have the original's on sale. but when they are no longer available on selling well sorry if they ain't avaliable I do my way to play the originals even though a collection of those would be amazing hopefully in the future since throughout of 2016-2024 re-releases of old games being avaliable in a collection is been amazing and hope they keep coming even that one day we get a RE collection and Silent Hill and or any game. if a game has a remake it would be great is to experience the original with a collection .... still waiting on that RE Collection just TAKE MY MONEY CAPCOM.

You nailed it. The originals for all these remakes are being lost to time. These companies have more than enough money and even when you tell them we want these things they do not listen. It's why I have a negative stigma towards remakes.

Exactly, I feel like the video game industry is one of the worst when it comes to preservation, and I wish more developers and publishers would work to change that. -Tin

FF7 is another example of one you can play both of but I do think it should be more common
