So much demand for these! Drove past a company in Kansas who was importing old german 320 Gwagens for restoration and resale. Rust holes ecerywhere lol.

It's a very practical car! It has a mostly functional cup holder, if you are going down hill it almost gets 14 mpg, and if you have a small piece of broken plastic trim you can easily buy it on eBay for just 10% the value of the car!

Diff lockers doesnt work

Yeah. I noticed that. I bet if they worked I would have gotten out, or sunk deeper. I'm working on figuring that out.

"Hopefully that'll go back on." 🙄 Nice to work on a car that isn't your daily driver. 🙂

Yes. I do like driving it though. So I'm working quickly to get the seats back in it!

bro needed to lock the diffs
@SkippyRockGame7 ай бұрын
So I tried. And this is when I realized my diffs don't locked. So that's the next project! If I can actually get them to work. I'll re try the same spot with the same tires!

@@SkippyRockGame go buy a set of electric guitar strings. pop the hydraulic lines off the axles and run the biggest guitar string up the line back and forth. 99% of G wagons never had the diffs locked so the lines are all dry and clogged. If that doesn't do it, you have a vacuum supply issue or the switch assembly in the dash has dried out solder joints.
