All the girls delivered. the, charisma, sass attitude and overall talent in vocals and dance was top notch in my opinion. The video focused more on letting the girls shine than on flashy sets. The best part of the MV was when they were dancing with the yeti’s. It was weird and quirky, but still interesting and the girls were smiling. Even the outfits they wore in that scene seem to match their personalities more. They should’ve stayed with that vibe for the whole MV.

I dont think the problem is the old formula. Its just that the song doesnt have a memorable melody, no catchy parts, no reason to listen to it again. The only "catchy" parts sound bland, just my taste but the yayayayaya and the meow doesnt sound good. Babymonsters first songs had the old concept/formula but it was catchy. Both songs had melodies i remember, the pre chorus had a strong sound. Meow just sounds like a bland b-side. YG Style isnt the problem here. They can use the concept but they need to do it better. I kinda hope they will have a great comeback soon.

I don’t know why anyone is surprised. YG and the Black label have been using 2NE1 rejected songs since Black Pink debuted. They’re still doing the same thing with this group and with baby monster. They need different producers and overall production teams for each group. These concepts of I’m a rich badass in designer clothes, and it’s us and the label against the world are tired. There’s no substance. Who are these girls? What do they believe in? What are their dreams? Why do they want to be in a music group? It seems like it’ll go the same route as Blackpink, with using their involvement in music as a vehicle for other things like brand deals and influencer roles, with very little actual music being released consistently. Sad.

haha Blackpink is successful because, they trained and their strategy to reach out to the global audience is what sets them apart from other girl groups Hun. A lot of girl groups out there can't even speak english on an average scale. So do you really expect people to resonate with a group they can't communicate with? Only recently when they started to recruit members who are english speakers. If you want to succeed you should branch out and not get stuck in Korea.

MEOVV's problems got nothing to do with YG....this is all Black Labels doing now. When MEOVV teasers were shown and everyone was overhyped about it like this is TEDDY's not YG...blah blah....now that the debut happened and it wasnt well recieved...its YG being dragged again in this. This is The Black Label...YG may own some shares in that company...but The BlackLabel are operating on their own now...they even moved to a different building and is no longer at the old YG building.
