I just want Multiversus to be on top again bro 😭🙏🏽. It was SO popular for months and then they just stopped updating it and it had less than 10k players by the time the "beta" shut down. It’s such a fun game with a great concept and shit tons of potential.

Back in the 90's every First-person Shooter was known as a Doom clone. It just takes time and enough people putting their own unique spin on the genre to change things. We're starting to see this right now with Monster Tamer games stepping away from Pokémon's shadow.

You could block but not how the usual platform blocks attack, gaining shield buff Wonder, womans shield Shaggys down air and spinning fist Supermans almost everything 😂 Fins side special you’re moves became your block if you understood that mechanic Garnet was the queen of blocking and Tom and Jerry is counter king with that racket

I'm tired of knocking opponents off of triplats. At this point I'm not interested in any upcoming smash-like game because they don't differentiate nearly enough to not be a re-implementation of smash with minor tweaks.

Multiversus means so much to me, and it isn't even like smash at all, with all the characters having their own moves and perks, having them play in fun enviorements, and having those same childhood character immortalized in game that is a multiverse that has a place for even more of those same characters. It is a place where a child wants to live, and with it's always supporting community, the game will hopefully last for a long time. Thank you for reading...

@@nickmaxx the thing is the smash formula refers to two different things. melee's formula which is the standard that nearly every fighting game in the recent years based off of and had success, and nintendo's(sm4sh/ultimate) formula which they created by gutting everything that made melee a fun and competitive game and basically starting over again from scratch. NASB 1, NASB 2, ROM, Rivals 2, and Rushdown revolt are all examples of games that stood out the most using melee's formula and making it their own thing adding tons of uniqueness to their own games while still feeling like a 'traditional platform fighter.' I'd mention multiversus and brawlhalla, but multiversus is largely inspired by and based off of brawhalla and brawlhalla is its own fresh take on platform fighters and how they are meant to be played, entire concepts like neutral, punishing, combos etc. deviate from traditional platform fighters.

What Smash players don’t know is that THEIR the reason why Platform fighters can never do well. Yall hold games up to such a high standard before the game even release. Then to make it worse yall want the game to be exactly like smash in almost EVERY way😂 And then Smash players get mad because there isn’t enough characters in the game like bro yall gotta realize that Smash had like 3 other games before Smash Ultimate for it to get to the point that it’s at now. Which is why I will ALWAYS hate Smash fans and the entirety of yall community.

Until platform fighters stop wholesale copying the win condition and core mechanics of smash, they will always be compared to smash. Stop making a game where the goal is to knock your opponent off of a triplat by increasing their knockback via dealing damage with directional normals and specials, then you can call yourself not a smash clone.

You're looking at the number of peak concurrent players at once. Look up 'MultiVersus number of downloads' and you'll see how many people have downloaded the game and played it
