I think that a legends game would be really fitting for Kalos. Mega evolution was a super cool mechanic imo and I think that if we got to discover the origin of mega evolution. I would also want the legends game to build up to the great war and the building of the ultimate weapon. It would be cool to even have AZ as the antagonist that we are fighting against.

Actually, about the AZ lore, I'm pretty sure he made a machine that was supposed to bring back his floette that died in the war but activating the machine cost a lot of lives which made floette leave him (but then I can't remember why he turned it into an ultimate weapon), then out of rage he detonated his weapon,ending the war and giving him immortality.

While i do see a possible remake for x and y. Something that I've heard from a couple of people is that these remakes came out after each 2 generations of games or in another sense, half of what the generation currently is. If that didn't make sense, here's what i mean. When diamond and pearl came out, yes there was platinum, but since it was the new gen 4 games, pokemon heartgold and soulsilver, which is gen 2, came out which is a remake of gold and silver. Fast forward to gen 6, being X and Y, gen 3 ruby and sapphire got a remake into omega ruby and alpha sapphire. Then fast forward to gen 8 sword and shield, we got brilliant diamond and shining pearl, which are a gen 4 remake. Basically they'll remake the old games after the double of their generation number has been released. So gen 5 will remake in gen 10, and gen 6 will remake in gen 12. Which is a pretty long long while. Now this is still a rumor and theory, but this does make a bit of sense in a way.

Gen 5 didn't get a remake because they made a whole sequel to Unova which didn't leave them anytime to do a remake. And with Gen 7 they made Let's Go because the GBA Kanto remake was older than Diamond and Pearl. We'll most likely get Gold and Silver remakes for Gen 9, Black and White for Gen 10, X and Y for Gen 11 and then for Gen 12 we'll most likely get another Hoenn remake.

X and Y are my favourite games ever idc what anyone says about them. They weren't even my first games but they are my faves. I would literally be beside myself if we got a remake, not too bothered about a legends title personally buy wouldn't me mad to see it but ultimately I'd want a remake that expands the story so we actually get the answers from the original games. Would love to see it in the SW/SH art style too that would be amazing. And one final note, the music in X and Y absolutely SLAPS

i wish to see Primal Xerneas and Yveltal, Megas for Kalos starters and more Megas for Pokemon. I just want it to be good remakes with polished story, some good post game with AZ and helping him to find his Pokemon. Also gym leaders and Elite 4 buffed with Megas and proper moveset. accecable Power Plant and other mansions and castles that are empty and loreless in routes to be improved and had some meaning. And as always I would really want to be fighting and active Champion of the region. After becoming one i wish to had to save the worlds, be appreciated by NPCs and defending my title. Maybe let us customise our Champion chamber in Pokemon League.

It's a major pet peve of mine whenever people say X/Y introduced the fewest new Pokémon, because they always forget to count the Megas. Seriously, Megas have unique 3d models, modified stats, and can even have different abilities or typing. They can completely change the way a given Pokémon is played. Not counting Megas is like not counting all the new evolutions for older Pokémon introduced in Diamond/Pearl.

I have a theory that Area zero only exists because of the Ultimate Weapon created by Az, every media depicts that it was 1. Fired twice (one with life energy and one with death energy) and 2.One shot landed in Kalos Region and one landed far left of it, Since Kalos is based on France and the ONLY COUNTRY left of it is Spain, that can only mean that the Ultimate weapon created that hole. There’s no possible explanation on WHY a hole like that could form naturally.

Idk why so many people are shitting on mega evolution in other comments, Dynamax in the later gen just felt like a wannabe mega evolution mechanic, I played Shield wanting to play it without using that mechanic, but from what I remember I felt like I had to, XY/ORAS were honestly peak with the mechanics, I even started a new playthrough on Alpha Sapphire just because I really wanna experience that feeling of having a good Pokemon game to play again, one that isn't overhauled by all this new stuff that we see in Scarlett and Violet. The newest games I haven't even tried, but it feels so lazy and felt like they were running out of ideas with the mons they made, Toedscool is literally a copy and paste of Tentacool, and that doesn't sit right with me. I just want to go back to a time where gen 5/6 was still a thing, I even liked 7 for the most part with the Z-Moves, but I much prefer that being the standard to be honest.The old style just feels the best to me

Pretty sure Black and White will be the last mainline Pokémon games released on the Switch either next year or sometime 2025. This would be fitting since they originally came out on the DS after the 3DS launched. That leaves the next generation for the Switch 2 (or whatever its called), and two or so years later we'll get X and Y remakes around 2027ish.

Honesty, I don't think we are going to get a remake, at least not one to continue the lore. Pokemon games, especially on the switch, have all been more "Kid friendly". One example of this is that XY were the last games to have a actual criminal organization, sun and moon had a gang, sword and shield werent even bad guys, and scarlet and violet had a bunch of "misunderstood" students. Another reason is that XY's lore is incredibly dark, Lysander specifically says he will commit mass genocide to eliminate all pokemon as they are our "problem", and floette was only resurrected after AZ sacrificed 100s of pokemon and the game specifically says so.

I want the remakes to feel just like the originals, but with updated graphics and the overworld having normal height (non chibi) models like every game since alola has done, and better character customization. I'm not sure if they would even need to re-design the charcters like with older remakes because every game since gen 5 has had actually good character design (no offense but ken sugimoris art just gets better and the old art doesn't hold up by todays standards). I hope by the time they come out, gamefreak learns how to make good open world or semi open world games so its not a glitchy mess. I know most people want real open world games but for me, it's not a huge concern if it makes the game run better. I just want to be able to immerse myself in the game so it can give me the same feeling as the original, and I was able to be immersed in legends arceus just fine without a full open world. anyways I am most excited for the lumiose city and world of hopes and dreams remasters as they were my favorite songs from the game.

Actually the sequels to XY were planned but scrapped. When the Nintendo Gigaleak happened there were internal files leaked that had an official confidential roadmap for Pokémon that went all the way to Sun & Moon. You can look this up yourself should it still be up on the internet and Nintendo didn’t take it down. And to be honest I personally believe that this was real because I would expect a hacker to get documents rather than anything else but even then the Gigaleak was so big that even the entire beta for Sword and Shield leaked as a playable file which is insane. The sequels on this roadmap didn’t have any names but were just titled “sequel” or “XY2” I don’t remember but again, you can look this up yourself. What most people think is that from 2013 until 2016 they would release a game every year which was maybe a lot for them to handle since the 20th Pokémon anniversary was coming up and the games to promote this were Sun & Moon so the speculation is that a) they scrapped the sequels in order to have more time to polish up Sun & Moon; b) they saw that B2W2 didn’t sell according to their standards so they scrapped their sequel strategy alltogether or c) all of a and b together. Edit: I found a video on YT that explains all of this. The video is called “X and Y sequels were real…” by TyranitarTube. He shows the official leaked document and my bad, the sequels were called Kalos Reserve 3 and Kalos Reserve 4, also, the roadmap doesn’t end at Sun and Moon but UltraSun and UltraMoon. Just watch the video. Also another thing, I recommend you to watch gameplay of the beta version of Sword and Shield and look at the title screen of the beta. It has a Mega Rayquaza in it whoch is odd since there were no Megas in Sword and Shield. Might be a fun watch too but the beta is really broken and unfinished and Eternatus looks like some kind of fish

I would love a legends game for gen 6 around the time of the war or directly after it. Through some odd circumstances like say Xerneas or better yet Zygarde communicated with celebi or something to send the character back in time, like maybe the character is the same as in the original games but after the champion so the player character was actually sort out by the legendaries to go and fix something they themselves could not do in the past and they needed to wait so long for celebi to get enough power to send someone back in time so far as they couldn't just get Dialga to do it and DIalga is overused even if I love the pokemon. This could lead the player to helping unite the two factions that were at war to get them to work together and rebuild whilst keeping Yveltal at bay with help from Zygarde as Yveltal being a pokemon focused around death would be loving the aftermath of the war and perhaps overpowering Xerneas and breaking their balance.

I had a dream about this last night, even though i havent played or thought about pokemon much at all recently. I dont remember much, but i remember that it was 2 games (so not pokemon z) and being really confuzed about why gen 5 remakes werent next. It was just a dream, but interesting to think about what might happen. Personally, i have no clue what gamefreak is planning in the near future. They said they weren't planning on making more let's go games, so gen 2 remakes may or may not be next. Too soon for gen 10. Third version is unlikely with dlc. Gen 5 is unlikely because of how recent gen 4 remakes are. Gen 6 isn't up next, but maybe they want to do something with z at long last. I'm curious what they do next year, it's not as clear as it has been in the past

In the Pokémon Remake Timeline, now that we've reached the point where 3rd versions stopped being made, I believe that the remakes should be the third version.

The problem with a "Legend Kalos" game is that the story will not be 3000 years ago. It's the same with Legend Arceus, everyone thought "oh we are gonna experience what happend in the past with Palkia & Dialga!!!", ... which came true... but also not. In LA all we did was the same story as in Pearl/Diamond, just a few hundret years in the past. What people wanted to see in LA was what happend in ancient Times at those ruins, but alas we never got to see it. It was such a wasted oppurtunity. That's why I believe, a Legend Kalos would just be as disapointing story-wise.

Maybe they ll stop doing remakes and make remasters instead. XY is the first full 3D generation, so they could just take the game and give it better textures and a higher resolution.

If we get Legends Kalos or a remake I hope we get a new legendary group because Kalos is the only region that doesn’t have one. Kanto has the bird trio Johto has the beast trio Hoenn has the Regi’s Sinnoh has the Lake Guardian’s Unova has the Swords of Justice and Forces of Nature Alola has the Tapu’s Galar has the Galarian Birds And Paldea has the Treasures of Ruin I probably missed some but whatever.

This was my first pokemon game Y that is and then I didn’t play again till violet and im now I’m going back to sword and brilliant diamond and arceus it’s great I’m loving them BDSP gets too much hate but I’d love to see XY get a remaster but I guess that’s sort of what ZA will be

Everyone blames Gamefreak for removing Mega Evolutions, but it's the Pokemon communities, they were crying back before sun and moon that megas were unfair and broken which they weren't... I mean 4 broken megas out of 20 doesn't constitute as unbalanced to me. Now we got Gigantimax and Paradox which are equal and or worse than Megas. This community is brainless.

If they make another game of Kalos, I hope it captivates me. I lost interest in the DS games pretty quickly when I finally played one a few years ago. I hope they also make a port of Alola to switch, Ultra Sun was my first Pokémon game and I loved it. (Maybe they’ll give us the option to choose between Z moves and Megas) I’m thinking the legends games for these regions could be named Legends Zygarde and Legends Necrozma, since they’re not box legendaries but they’re still important to the story.

I’m actually working on a new Kalos Remake. It wouldn’t be a playable game, but I have ideas. I reckon a ‘Mega X and Mega Y’ would be awesome. It would be cool to be able to travel to mega island, and do things like mega raids there. Similar to terra raids or dynamax raids. You could be able to get items like exp candies, or the mega stone of the Pokémon in the raid.

That sounds like a fantastic concept for a Kalos Remake! "Mega X and Mega Y" with Mega Raids on Mega Island is a creative idea. It would add a fun and engaging way to obtain Mega Stones and other valuable items. Best of luck with your project, and I hope your ideas come to life in an exciting way

@@TKDPandaa Recently also thought of tons of new mega designs for forgotten Pokémon, thought of a new feature known as ‘Omega Evolution’ (Allows some Pokémon with pre-existing mega evolutions, and allowing them to go after mega evolution. For example, both the Mega charizard forms would fuse to make an ‘Omega Charizard’.) Also made box art legendaries, being a fusion between Zygarde and the box legendary. For Mega X, it would be Zygarde and Xerneas fusion, while Y would be Zygarde and Yveltal.

A legends game for kalos could make sense IF they do it correctly, obviously arceus wouldn't send us back so who would? and instead of the weird enraged golden thing the bosses had in arceus we could have a random bit of mega evolvtion, leading the prof of that time to research it and try to create a prototype for the mega ring

The Switch Hardware is NOT the excuse for bad quality assurance! This thing is freakin' powerful! They just didn't care to optimize anything. And made the game look bad with unnecessary effects like deep sharpness and bloom. And washed out colors. It's not as hurting as the Gen4 remakes but close enough. (I get migraines and I got the feeling I wanna puke for real after I play about 10min of Brilliant Diamond, that is not a joke, it's like a VR sensibility side effect)

X and Y will probably just be ported to switch with minor enhancements instead of being remade. It's already fully 3D and it will probably only contain the Kalos national dex similar to how BDSP only had the Sinnoh national dex. It would be a waste of time for them to do anything but port them. There is only just the slightest chance they will update the friend safari to allow the player to catch pokemon not native to kalos sort of what they did to BDSP's underground.

You might be onto something there. Porting X and Y to the Switch with minor enhancements does seem like a practical approach given that they're already in 3D. It'll be interesting to see if they add any additional features, like expanding the Friend Safari, to make it a fresh experience for fans. Fingers crossed for some exciting updates

@@TKDPandaa Yeah cause even as much as BDSP didn't change they still managed to give use to pal park by making it into a legendary playground. They'll probably make friend safari into Ramanas park just like BDSP but I hope they actually expand it and use it as a way to fill the national dex.

The best way for pokemon company to handle this would to be releasing X & Y just remastered & adding pokemon following you. Nothing Else should be done to the games. They should be sold cheaper at $40 & then release Z separate with a new story and updated areas and Pokemon thats it. We were robbed of Pokemon Z cause of the 20th anniversary. These wont come out anytime soon though. I could see a 2027 release. Because 2026 is the 30th anniversary thats when Gen 10 will be released. So we will most likely get a gen 5 remake one other pokemon game. Considering Gen 4 remakes took the longest ever to remake. The timeline of remakes is screwed. But since gen 9 is on the switch I would assume a new pokemon game is slated for Q1 of 2024 before the switch 2 drops. Then I could also see them holding off on any pokemon games and have decided to move to the switch 2. Which would go with there statement that pokemon games will take longer to come out.
