Korean people don't mess around with their skin. It's cool but sad because in order to be famous in Korea, I heard some Ppl had to alter their skin surgically just to be accepted. You can Google. I forgot the whole issue regarding the abuse of their skin. Yes it's their choice. Yes korean women are beautiful, but k pop stars do insane things to their face I've heard. That being said... Don't expect korean food to help, it's a far more complex method

Thanks for sharing this! To add to this, it's hard to compare probiotics between soil-based probiotics and non soil-based probiotics. The more important factor to look for is the genus, species, and strain listed on the bottle. Some strains are good for certain issues, and other strains are helpful for other issues! So it depends on your individual health needs! The power of personalized nutrition!

Some bacteria do survive the stomach acid. That's how they are there naturally in the first place. Many leading probiotic companies use these strains.
@jozefgurzynski7380
@jozefgurzynski7380 4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, Lactobacillus by their nature are pretty resilient to stomach acid. I think more important than taking probiotics is to feed them. Taking probiotics is pretty futile if you don't feed them. The bacteria in your gut will always adapt to whatever you feed it. That's why people who eat lots of sugar have such problems with Candida.

Thanks Cass. Wish this was out sooner lol. We can spend forever and a day looking for supplements of any kind that are actually not going to rip us off. Thankfully I found a couple of brands that are dr. formulated/recommended. Definitely also look for several strains (15+). One suggestion by doctors is to be sure not to have too much of it as well. If recovering - 40 or 50 billion is good for a short time. After that - 15 to 20. Topical probiotics is quite challenging - some argue they are not useful though prebiotic and thermal water products can be helpful. Have a great day!

If you liked this video, you may also want to know that there are advantages and disadvantages to taking soil-based probiotics. For example, soil-based probiotics are more spore-forming. The spore creates a protective barrier so that the microorganisms are more likely to travel through the stomach without being destroyed by stomach acid. So they are more likely to attach in the gut, and be effective. On the other hand, this can be a negative if the microorganism causes an infection, because it is then more resistant to an antibiotic that may be needed to treat the infection!

Drank tons of that and finally got some relief. My theory is that this one worked was because it was very high quantities of probiotics that are definitely alive (the product is pressurized from gasses produced by the bacteria).

Thank you for this video! I love and even make kombucha, but I get so annoyed. People keep marketing it as this magic cure all because it has probiotics, but it's the same concept. There just isn't research to support these claims, and I can only assume that most the bacteria die in your stomach. That being said I still drink it when I travel because I get travelers gut. Maybe it helps, maybe it's just a delicious tea that makes me - and thus my stomach - happy. If it's a placebo, maybe I don't want to know, lol

I've been on antibiotics for my skin for around 6 years now which worries me, I have thought about trying probiotics for acne since apparently that can help especially since antibiotics don't really help much and they're making my hair constantly fall out, my hair is so thin now it's depressing but I can't bring myself to stop taking them even though they only help with my acne a bit because it's still better than nothing, but from any of your research do probiotics actually benefit acne? and if so can they actually be taken with antibiotics? I know it says you can on the packaging but is it true? and I don't know it's it's just my country but I can't find double encapsulated ones anywhere.

My suggestion is to go for plain yoghurt and preferably buy from an India store. Try to make your own culture. Try taking 500 ml of milk and warm to slightly higher than lukewarm temperature. Then just take a spoon or two of the dahi (that's yoghurt in Hindi) and swirl in around in the milk. Leave overnight, covered but not in a airtight container, in a warm place. Not too hot though. You should get set curd/dahi/yogurt by the next day. If you do, that means you've got a live bacteria culture!! This is super cheap and super affordable because you have to by the dahi only once. After that you can just use your own to make more. Also, consume stuff like kamboocha, kimchi, sauerkraut. I personally can't eat any of these either because I can't get them in India. Another good option is raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar with mother. Just remember not to overheat it, meaning don't cook it. You can put in any smoothies you make or the have a shot of it and drink some water over it. Putting it in the fridge (and the dahi) is not an issue as that only slows down the bacteria, makes it sleepy, and doesn't kill them. Anyway, this is just my opinion. And keep in mind that I've taken minimal antibiotics in my life. Maybe once to three times a year on an average. My mom's a doctor and her approach to illness has been: rest fluids, natural traditional remedies and good food and at times a glucose or saline IV (at home). Because you don't need antibiotics for most illnesses. And if you do take antibiotics you finish the course even if you feel better after one dose. That's very important.

I had c diff infection that literally screwed everything up. It was from the antibiotic ciprofloxacin. That was over 2 years ago and now I cannot consume gluten anymore. I got eczema as well. Also have nerve damage in hands and feet, skin and hair is not the same. Never had any of these problems before. So I tried fermented food like sauerkraut. Made things worse. Tried plant diet and made it worse. Went carnivore and it slowly felt better. I am slowly adding more foods like vegetables and so far it's ok. In the video it was mentioned that in 1 day you can change your microbiome. But how do you fix a microbiome that had such damage? It took me 2 months eating only meats to stop the bloating and nausea.

Your meat diet is probably having such a great effect as it's basically an elimination diet. If I were to guess, I would say you have a really bad case of leaky gut - When your gut biome is healthy, the gut bacteria produce a layer of mucus that protects your intestines. Without them, you can become hype sensitive to irritants in food. What you need to do is #1 Heal your gut. #2 Rebuild your mucus lining (By rebuilding your gut biome with beneficial probiotics). My suggestion would be to first do a few water fasts to heal your gut: Give it a break from digestion so it can heal. Autophagy will kick in after a day of fasting and greatly speed up your self healing factor. After your water fasting, try to work on intermittent fasting/One meal a day. Then, slowly increase the amount of fibre you eat. Start small!!! What you need to do is slowly retrain your gut bacteria in your stomach. Right now you'll be full of bacteria that live on meat. Find something that is prebiotic (food for probiotic gut bacteria) that you don't have a really negative affect with. Leafy greens, beans would be a great place to start. You don't want to feed your gut lots of sugars, because if your biome is out of balance then you'll be feeding yeast/candida - so I wouldn't go the fruit route. Again, start small! Slowly ramp up your fiber intake over time at whatever speed your gut can handle - listen to your body. It'll take time, don't rush it. And slowly decrease your protein intake. Keep fasting, and each time, add a little more fibre. Once your gut has healed and you're all full of mucus. You should feel much better. TLDR: Heal your leaky gut, slowly increase prebiotics to feed your good bacteria to rebuild your mucus layer. Take it slow!

If you liked this video, you may also want to know that When buying a probiotic, it's important to look for probiotics that have genus, species, and strain on the bottle. This is important because two different strains can provide two different health benefits! So how do you know that you're taking the probiotic most applicable to your personal health if you don't have all of the information?!

Probiotics definitely help my digestion, but the thing is, I'm apparently sensitive to starch, which is a great prebiotic ... So great that I start hurting from the bloating :|
