I was 16. Along with Utah Saints you were *supposed* to hate the Prodigy because they were popular. And this track started off a boom in this kind of thing a few months later, viz Trip to Trumpton, Sesame's Treet etc If I recall hipsters of the period were into The Orb and FSOL instead.

The last decade in American history. I was in middle school when I first heard The Prodigy. Fat of The Land is still in my top ten greatest albums of all time. I hadn't heard this song until recently. I also recently discovered the Dirt Chamber Session. Highly recommend that to anyone who hasn't heard it and loves Prodigy.

Years later when I moved from Alberta, Canada to...you guessed it Walthamstow (initially Leytonstone), my vision of the bizziness of the Ravers was as I imagined it to be! Great track! Hardcore. Utah Saints - Something Good is another.

this pic is how i remember watching the tune on tv was this tune being played in the uk underground rave scene around 1987 88 much before its official release on XL in 1992 i distinctivly remember when i was young in 1988 hearing this or humming this in my head particularly the servo sample and " ..... says" sample parts of the tune as i came back from the shops or school maybe some one in 1988 was playing it on an underground mix tape on thier car cassette radio round the local shops and thats how i could humminging it in my head in 1988

I'm proper 'old school' started raving in '88' onwards and remember seeing prodigy live at a smallish venue under a bridge on Lea Bridge Road London. Got to remember this was before they were known commercially! I can't remember the venue's name, like quite a few I used to party at!! Where's the time gone? not complaining had some of the best days of my life..😁

I've checked that out and I actually found out I know both versions. There was Experience Expanded with remixes of the album tracks, , some of them pretty awesome.
