As a woman I've watched some of Anna's generally looking for tips on being more elegant or ladylike, I found myself frustrated with the wealth stuff and the lack of practical advice, her answer to not having money was just to find a richer man. I also find it frustrating that a lot of channels like hers just give these broad spectrum pieces of advice rather than ones that can be useful to the majority of women. Looking back now from your perspective why would I even listen to such a stuck up woman, perhaps simply because from the surface she seems elegant and wears beautiful clothes but there is nothing deeper there

@@Cecilia-ky3uw on discrimination ? it's against the law to discriminate based on gender. To be accurate the extra hours on average that men work are a factor but it's not the main one. Men and women working the same job are paid the same, they key words are "same job" because there are many dirty, physically intensive jobs that most women avoid by choice. If for the sake of being equal you would have to quota women and men working in specific fields the freedom of choice would be violated and the level of depression at work and other mental issues would skyrocket like we have never seen before. Just think about it this way, would you rather work in a beauty salon/ own one or play with grease, pipes and torchlights ? Some parts of the reasoning of those choices are preferences. Business are about making more profit, and not a single one would skip on saving 25 % of their highest annual cost if they could pay women 25 % less than men. Nothing is more "money driven" than companies in this world.

@@Cecilia-ky3uw not really, the point of the law is not to equalize the pay of everyone, it's to make sure that everyone working the same job gets the same conditions so that the same rules apply no matter your gender or religion or skin color etc. Equality of outcomes is stupid to begin with, equality of opportunity is achievable. Job X pays ZZ per hour, 50% extra for overtime, performance bonus rules to be the same for all. Rules have the be the same so that a man and a woman making the same exact choices would get the same result, and you can't argue that your past choices should not have an effect since you made that choice. If you can't work overtime because you have kids, having kids was your choice and it's not something the guy doing overtime may have. You must choose in life, you cannot have it all, the sooner you realize it the faster you can get to where you need to be (not where you want to be out of endless greed).

I’ll say this, I am actually a fan of Anna Bey and have watched basically all of her content. There are things I love about her channel and others not so much. I never really watched her content to “get an affluent man” and plus I have a boyfriend and am happy with that part of my life (we both work, I like to work, I’m financially independent of him etc.) What she teaches I’d say …in 80% of her videos? Is mostly fashion tips, how to dress elegantly, how to care for your clothing, what things make you look cheap when you wear them, etc. There’s also a lot of content that goes a long way in terms of social etiquette like how not to be rude during conversations, how to build your confidence, how to be a courteous guest, how to tip appropriately in specific locations and settings, how to walk with proper posture, dining etiquette and so on. I think she gets a bad rep for the “how to date rich” thing which tbh. I respect not liking her channel for that reason. But there is a lot of decent advice for men and women beyond that on her channel. Like I said just related to how you hold yourself, dress yourself, treat others, treat yourself etc. Disclaimer though: I found her channel through a search for something clothing related I believe.
