@Deadpoppin they banned me first for asking them to check if someone was cheating. Then when I told them it was bullshit and to do their job it was a longer ban. Then I insulted the head admin on the discord and I was perma banned from the dicord, the server, the website forums.

It's always nice to have new servers, specially considering how often the VG coop server crashes, the shitty admins of HOG and Golden Pilot always killing PRTA servers by changing the map in the middle of ongoing matches just because he wanted to play insurgency (this happened at least 5 times when I was an active PR player)

There is a very important question! Is the ability to use another faction's KIT limited by the server or the game itself? If server, then hopefully this restriction will be removed. So you don't have to juggle other people's KITs like a clown in a circus.

You can take enemy kits on SEA coop. But maybe it's just a co op thing. Besides, being able to pick enemy kits would make it hell to figure out who is who. Especially with certain factions

Havent played in probably 2 years, but I had always avoided HOG because of the constant bans I got for ridiculous things. It was because of them I started recording my games just to use as evidence. Had so many bans undone because of BS and trolling. Hoping to join the server soon when I have the time and energy. Have been missing PR.

There's an external app that PR uses for it's VOIP system- mumble. Every time you play project reality, you're running both the pr instance and the mumble software. You can configure project reality's mumble by pressing the background app menu (a arrow pointing up) on the windows's lower right corner. Right click on the PR icon and the configure mumble. You can add hotkeys, change the volume, change what microphones and audio systems that the voip should use. Or, you can just lower the PR mumble volume in the windows volume mixer. Hope i helped!

I hoped for more open-mindedness when it came to the rules. I specificly dislike content in: "Squads 2.7: Do not lock a squad with less than 6 players. In addition, if you are locking a 6 player squad, be prepared to be asked by an admin to unlock your squad if excessive numbers of players on your team do not have a squad. Assets and Claiming 3.2.3.APC: For any kind of BMPs, APCs, LAVs, AAVP, IFVs, BRDMs,(Including ATGM vehicles). 3.2.5: SPG & Rocket Technical: For SPG technical & Rocket technical. 3.2.6.MORTARS: For mortars. Mortar squads cannot be locked with less than 5 players. Mechanized infantry: 4.1: A bit of a grey area, realistically if you make a Mech Inf squad you’re at the mercy of the APC squad. If the APC squad want to use all their APCs you will become a standard infantry squad. Communicate with the APC squad and come to an arrangement. " For one, I don't see the argument why an ATGM-vehicle is claimable, while an AA-vehicle is not, other than; that's how it used to be. The norm. - Which is a valid reason if you prioritise accessibility i.e. low need for adaption between servers. Though I find 7.5.* interesting: "* Exception; Fixed emplacements such as AA, AT, and MG are allowed to be used inside the dome." (about firering from Base)

1. there is a limitation of 9sqs per team, that requires literally reverse engineering the game. if you lock sqs with 2-3 players, some player will be simply left squadless 2.

@@NN-lo5fy So we are getting closer now. IF your actions lock people out from creating and joining squad, then you should give in. The rules doesn't say anything about all squads being taken. Otherwise the rule is often just protecting people's idea of a RIGHT to be your squad-member. Needlessly flooding a squad, forcefully against a SL will, does work against this level of team-play the server speaks of, as a SL who aims to control a tight 5-man squad and get forced to adopt 3 more consequently looses control and his plans of a cohesive squad goes to shit, as so many plans do after the first 10 minuttes of a match. Likewise intentional team-kill is not always undesired either -> shortening respawn time of a squad-mate who's stuck in a static weapon or sacrificing one friendly for 6 enemies with bomb, claymore etc. (but that rule is not a problem)

Gave up on PR years ago because of their dumb class implementation. You pick an available pilot class because there are enough players to support it only to have some of those players leave the server while you are still flying and the game kills you right then and there. WTF??? Dumbest rule implementation I've ever experienced in BF2 or any of its mods. Sorry but haven't been back and have no interest in doing so...

It is literally HOG, they maintain deniability but when it's time for THEIR server to pop on NA, anyone that has tried to compete against them gets DDOS until their server dies and everyone migrates to HOG, fcv dealt with it for some time. Get on HOG forums and it's not hard to imagine, the entire community is idiotic and toxic. I could deal with one or the other but they are actually stupid and bad at the game. At least =H= was good at the game while shitting on everyone.
