That was such an inspiring message! I have read the book Bonhoeffer.. it is so beautifully written and Bonhoeffer and his family were inspirational… I knew how it ended before I started reading, so I had to stop reading a few times (crying) but I kept going because it was an amazing biography. I am looking forward to the film Letter to the American Church. God Bless everyone!❤️✝️

Well said, Eric. The United States needs the church to stand up and BE the church more than ever. If anyone reading this has never read the book, Bonhoeffer, get it now, don’t delay! It is such a perfect parallel. How the church can be complacent in the midst of such obvious spiritual warfare is beyond me.

My husband and I are currently reading Bonhoeffer for our nightly devotional. It is a tough read, and definitely not a bedtime story. But it is a very necessary read.

Ha! Good for you.... Eric does an amazing job of showing what 1930s Germany was like, amidst the church's complacency. Another great book if you haven't read it yet is Eric's biography on William Wilberforce, "Amazing Grace".... many people have seen the movie (it's great!), but the book is even better..... @@lisahoche4017
