Hi Erika, thanks for the comment. Most of Dunedin is not in a flood zone, but if you want or need flood insurance there are many factors that go into that rate.

Tarpon is where you will find the most bang for your buck, but it is further north. Oldsmar is probably more affordable than Dunedin, and better location than Tarpon (in our opinion). Feel free to shoot us an email with any other questions. Thanks!

Dunedin is silly expensive I moved here in 2016 my house is right by the stadium I paid 105 for it and put 25k into it over 3 years My property tax was 677$ a year the day I moved in And the insurance was 1375$ a year Same house now property tax 3788$ Insurance $3,500.00 This has got to come to an end I’m sure all these people want to point out that now that house would sell for 400k but I am not an investor I don’t want to sell I had my daughter in this town 😢 But if feels like 9 out of 10 home owners are investors It sucks that it costs me more than 125% just to stay in my home I haven’t done anything wrong except pick the wrong town to live in I guess And yes it’s homesteaded

There are some really good charter and private school options, as there are some above average, average and below average public schools... but the beautiful thing about Pinellas County is that there is always a really good school not too far away!

Prices are high for housing there. What kind of jobs are down there? People who can afford those homes, what kind of jobs are they getting? Where in that area can you make good money? Thanks

Price point is always subjective. We have clients that think it is very affordable compared to other places in the county. There is a hospital in Dunedin, so like any gulf coast city, a lot of the higher income jobs are finance, medical and entrepreneurship. Hope this helps!

we are for the most part a retired state.. means low paying jobs here.. but really depends on what your willing to sacrifice to get good pay.. like lol me.. i make 1600 a week and only pay three bills fone bill once a year, 500. my car insurance 1300 / 6 months and my 500 every month electric bill.. my sacrifices are: no family, no friends, no personal life.. not all apd jobs pay this i got lucky .. but good news is i quit next year and thsi position will re open up for next lucky person....
