Amen you are so right it’s all over the world but when I lived in Chandler coming from New Jersey people are very very friendly even going to the Safelite place after I cracked my windshield they are very helpful I met all kinds of individuals who were very friendly and helpful👍🏾 i’m probably looking to get a condo or a apartment soon as I land a solid job with a company🤔

"Golf Mecca" in the middle of a desert in a State facing significant water resources challenges. 🤣 I've lived in the Valley for decades. Scottsdale definitely has some pluses, but it's also not one of my favorite areas in the Valley. If I were heading here today I think I'd choose Chandler or Gilbert.

Hi Nom, thanks for watching! While the state is feeling a pinch with the water resource challenges, Golf Courses actually have very little effect on this. Scottsdale just keeps growing, but I've heard from numerous people who also LOVE the Chandler and Gilbert area! If you ever have any real estate questions or needs, please don't hesitate to reach out!

Such a great idea, I've heard that but wasn't sure if that actually worked. I will have to get my wife to try that!!

My daughter goes to asu and we live in surprise Az. I would love to live in Scottsdale 😊 yes some people call it snobsdale but I love it there. It is my happy place l. Any excuse for me to go to Scottsdale

I’ve been here 5 years, can’t wait to move. It’s beautiful and clean, but that doesn’t make up for the snooty, rude, and downright mean people that will literally kill your spirit. The more money = more miserable they are. You can have this new mini California. Anywhere in the valley is better (friendlier) than Scottsdale.

Totally agree they are so rude and arrogant. NO THANKS

Yes there certainly are those types of people. Yet we have found many, many people and families in Scottsdale (as an example) who are extremely friendly and outgoing towards all types of people.

Lived in Old town Scottsdale for 2 years and worked for the Phonecian resort. Used to hang out in North Scottsdale. You are pretty dead on about the people. I would hang out at AJs and watch rich housewives with their duckface lips and little dogs. A lot of rich housewives would own boutiques just for fun. I used to live in East Mesa when it was new. I miss the people. But not the crappy jobs or hot winters. It was always a crapshoot of winter was cool or warmer. I miss the malls and you have every business you need around you. I live in Oregon since 2000. I love the weather and rain here. The people suck.

Around here it's always had a reputation for arrogance. The local nickname is 'Snotsdale'. But while there might be some truth behind that trope of the 'area', it's very unfair to the vast majority of the people there. Most folks in Scottsdale are just like most Arizona folks, decent, friendly & pretty 'down to Earth'. Some of the 'communities' might tend to be a bit insular, but that's hardly unique to Scottsdale, or Arizona. I'd note only one salient thing about Scottsdale and that's either a 'Pro' or a 'Con' depending on circumstances (although to me it's pretty much a solid 'Pro' all around): Scottsdale is tougher on DUI than any other jurisdiction in the United States. If you want to drive after imbibing enough you think passing a BA test might be questionable, do NOT do it in Scottsdale.

The rattlesnakes look scary!!!! That would be scary to move here with those being right in my backyard
@EverythingPhoenix3 жыл бұрын
Not to worry too much Samantha. I've been living in Scottsdale/Phoenix now for 17 years and have only seen a rattlesnake 3 times. And they are usually in the desert washes or out in the desert golf courses when you hit a bad shot lol.
