A forest primeval represents the future, as I have been haunted by the towering silence of the trees in dreams during the pandemic. Nature has had enough of us. She sent the bats to relieve her of this pebble in her sandal. We are gone. No one exists, beyond Babel or Babylon. Love it! The Furs deserve far more recognition than they have received to date for saving humanity through their visionary music.

I was lucky to have seen them many times in 80's, 90's and 2000's. Met them personally in 1983 and whole band signed "Mirror Moves" LP i had with me. In 2011 I brought my 11 and 8 year old sons to see them at a small beach park in Copiague, NY. I brought the same record and was in front row and was holding it up the whole time. Halfway through the show Tim and Richard motioned for me and my boys to come on stage and hugged it out with us. It was a great moment!! At the end of the show they brought us backstage and were so nice to us, giving us anything they could find. Richard gave my sons the written set list and he and Tim signed it. I have always been inspired by their music and this being released during the pandemic helped my tremendously. I listened to it many nights full blast quarantined in my yard. Thank you Psychedelic Furs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I Love this. I'm so glad The PF's have gone back to their roots of writing dark , mordant rock after their success with Pop. Upon first listen, I thought it had a touch of of a Depeche Mode -like Riff ... but then Butler's voice kicked in. That broken glass of a voice ! His voice is menacing , yet has a strange tenderness much like Marianne Faithful's . In the song it seems he has contempt for the person he is singing about but you can tell he has compassion or pity for them as well. Their songs have substance . You can go back to their albums from 40 years ago and they still stand up and their newer stuff sounds as good or better as the The "NEW" Artists. Excuse my Lecture here Lol but I had to say how I felt. I H AD TO ! Wow, I better calm down ... I'm too damn old to get this damn excited . Any way ..Viva The Psych Furs.! See them Live if ya can. They are amazing .
