The past two years have been the most lonely years of my life. Being alone is not easy. It's one of the feings that can literally rip your heart apart nad cause phycological problems that you will carry with you for the rest of your life. It's one of the things that might make you question your existence. This is because socialising and communicating with others is a part and parcel of your overall happiness. It makes you complete and calm, happy about who you are and that there is actually space for you in the world. I have become very well-acquainted with loneliness and I have missed out on a lot of socialising and communicating with others with others which made me very sad and completely incapable to communicate with others,to the point where I can't even say hi to someone. So If anyone has reached that point of loneliness. Seek for help

Friendships are overrated. Small interactions are also very important. I don't care for friends but I interact with a lot of very different people everyday and that's fine. Friendships are often disappointing.

My Take Away From The Video:- 1. Quality >> Quantity :- Make meaningful interpersonal relationships instead of shallow ones. This is because the sense of belonging is inversely proportional to loneliness. 2. Understand difference between Solitude and Loneliness :- Solitude gives calmness and time for self reflection all leading to greater productivity and quality of life. Loneliness on the other hand is the gap b/w expected social interaction and the actual social interaction which brings sadness and makes you MORE PRONE TO ADDICTIONS AND BAD THOUGHTS. SOLUTIONS :- ● You Are Not Alone :- 40% of people have experienced what you are experiencing at some point of time in their life . Realising this shifts to the positive side of the spectrum. ● Take The Step Forward :- An awkward step forward is better than a coward step backward . So participate in activities, volunteer in clubs and initiate interactions in order to have greater chances at making Meaningful interpersonal relationships .
