@@notavailable1174 Same with my dad :/ People really don't get it... My dad got another malamute and trained with her maybe 2-3 times, and to this day (a year or 2 after) still gets frustrated when she doesn't listen to him. He hasn't trained her at all after those few times. And doesn't understand why she won't come back when chasing wildlife when he's screaming at her (and she knows she's gonna get a hard whooping if she comes back. God I hate that man).

Just did a quick search, Puggle pups aren't "that" expensive by which I mean they are expensive but I've seen more expensive like Shiba pups. A pluggle is around the £1,500 per pup mark.. I'm so glad we got our lab for £250.. we did look in shelters before buying but there was nothing suitable for our family and lifestyle. Though the husky I saw was gorgeous, not allowed dogs with high prey drives. Including little dogs.

Well yeah he is a beagle if he jumps it doesn't matter that much for others but we want a berger blanc swiss too so if she jumps she will be too heavy for people to stay standing.

i would think you ask your guests again to not do that, and/or put the dog away in another room before guests enter the house and then let him out into the room after everyone's inside and he might be calmer
@semiautomatic.companion3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, just tell them to ignore him and not make a fuss. if your guest says they don't mind, you have to tell them that *you* mind and that you don't want your dog jumping up on guests, so they have to or they can leave. if people who come into your home aren't respectful to you, you need to rethink your decisions

@ninjawolfy943 жыл бұрын
Does the family dog also sleep in the crate at night? Because if so, it probably isn't best to put them in there as punishment, it is meant to be a safe place. But if not, I'm not much help xD Could you put Ruby in another room instead? Watching these videos has showed me that that could be a good way to deal with bad behaviour (though might be different in your situation), then when she's being good, praise her and give her treats. But still, sorry to hear that your dogs don't get along well :(
