I did. Best decision I ever made. My cat is happy and healthy. Most of all, she is safe. I don't recommend it to someone who doesn't have the resources though. If you can afford it, great! If not, wait until you are stable.

Carlie Sim you are a responsible person then. But there are people out there that get a pet and then they go on vacation and the pet becomes suddenly inconvenient. They tie their dog to a tree or something like that and leave it to die.Or just throw out their cat to live on the street. Imagine that would happen to a shelter animal. It would have to suffer all over again.

lol no. They would never do that. Unless they're with an overburdened underpaid shelter, they'd want a massive amount of paperwork and stuff beforehand. With most places it isn't about adoption anymore, and it isn't about the pets. Instead, all eyes are on the owner. The people probably couldn't care less about the animals. They'd euthanize before letting a pet go to a home that hasn't had every procedure followed and every policy gone through. It's probably easier to adopt a human than it is a dog or cat.

This is all cute and all, but there are two reasons why I did not really enjoy this video: First, the puppy was showing signs of stress in most scenarios which may be because of... Second, these people don't like puppies! WTF! So many of them reacted like they didn't want to go near the baby! I mean, it's a puppy for crying out loud. It's common courtesy to melt and switch to the baby voice.

amsaric it's not common courtesy to touch a puppy and cuddle it because they don't know if the puppy is mean or has something wrong with it and a persons instincts would be to question things and search for the owner also you don't know if these people know how to handle a dog.

Daliasunderthemoon 0225 I regularly take dog behavioral classes which are obligatory for me as I'm training a therapy dog. We spend a lot of hours specifically on recognizing signs of stress to make sure our dogs are as stress-free as possible. The puppy's arched back in many of these scenes and the facial expressions lead me to believe this pup is not comfortable.
