As someone who has served in the military and who knows what real warriors are capable of, even just a hundred of these good men would make the scum of the purge beg for mercy and the purge to end. End of the day, this is how civilisations survive, any country which supported things like the purge would not be a prosperous civilisation for long. But if it happened around my circles, I assure you there will be many of scum in body bags. Combat is not the movies, most civilians and criminals have no Idea what a large group of advanced infantry could do when the gloves are off, it would be hunting season with the soldiers and marines having BBQ next to the pile of bodies of scum with masks, and our families and friends sleeping safe and sound at night. My little girl will know no fear...

Everyone about is good except the section where this girl and her husband try to get into politics just to make a deal just for the girl to reconsider and back out, as well as feel uncomfortable with another situation about having a threesome so the whole time you see the couple on screen it's just stretched out and boring, all it feels like is a teen drama from Mtv like 16 and pregnant, also she's pregnant. But other than their boring side of things the rest of the show is interesting. I'd say without the political threesome, the shows a 4.5

FOR THOSE TRYING TO DECIDE IF THEYRE GOING TO WATCH THIS: It's hard to believe that the director of the three movies is also the director of this series. I also expected more from Jason Blum. This show is good enough to keep watching, but I'm on episode 6 right now, and Im basically just trying to get it over with so I can move onto a better series. It's full of cheesy one liners, the acting is pretty awful, and it's not nearly as thrilling as the movies. The only person whose acting in this show has impressed me at all is that Henry guy that's a junkie. Which is a) odd, because as a drug addict myself, I usually find people who play the role of a junkie completely off base and b) it sucks, because his role in this show is pretty small. Again, it's good enough that I'm going to probably finish the series, but there is literally nothing special about it. Action is boring without character development, which this show lacks. I wish they had hired better actors and written a better script so I could feel a connection and feel empathy for the actors. Had they done that, I'm sure this show would have me at the edge of my seat throughout. If you're trying to decide on watching this, my suggestion is pass. It's just not special. The movies were great, I enjoyed all three of them. But this just seems lazy, rushed and the roles were poorly placed. If you're looking for something that's going to excite you, challenge you intellectually and emotionally, and something that will keep you in suspense, I just finished the Leftovers and the Handmaid's Tale. Both of those shows completely blew me away in every single aspect. They both made it to my top three series. The acting is impeccable, which is crucial and something the purge lacks. That being said, if you're looking for a series to spoon-feed you the plot, the same way NCIS does, then I suppose the purge might be for you. I started watching it mostly because of comments on this trailer, but I'm beginning to realize these comments are probably left by CSI fans.
